I wouldn't be surprised if somehow UCF drops because they didn't beat Memphis by enough, since UCF isn't allowed to be in the running for anything.
I'm optimistic; we won a tough road game against the AAC's best rushing attack, though Memphis not being ranked and having some inexplicable losses still hurts. Ideally we stay at 10, realistically we probably drop a spot or two.
Having said all that: I couldn't give less of a shit right now, I'm just relieved we won.

1. Undefeated Alabama
2. Undefeated Ohio State
3. Undefeated ACC Champion (Clemson/NC State)
4. Undefeated Notre Dame
5. 1 loss SEC Champion
6. 1 loss Alabama
7. 1 loss Big Ten champion
8. 1 loss Big 12 Champion
9. 1 loss ACC Champion
10. 1 loss PAC-12 Champion
11. 1 loss Notre Dame
12. Undefeated AAC Champion (maybe bumped up a spot or two if it's UCF and USF/CInci keep winning)
Basically Alabama, OSU, Clemson, NC State, Notre Dame, LSU, UGA, Florida, and Kentucky control their destiny, I think.
Michigan needs to win out and have Alabama win the SEC or Alabama lose twice. Iowa needs to win out and have Wisconsin lose one more game and have Alabama win the SEC. Also have the Cyclones keep winning would help.
Texas/Oklahoma/West Virginia's best shot is Alabama wins out and then the ACC champion or ND lose.
Oregon needs a ton of help, simplest is probably ACC champion and ND lose. Might also need a Big 12 bloodbath.
UCF would need a lot, I think. We'll see what the committee says.

Self-righteousness is incompatible with coalition building.
Jesus fuck Texas could be ranked #6 or #5 tomorrow if the committee gives us the bump for a win and 6-8 + 2 falling
Shiiiiiit
Wouldn't be shocked if we jumped y'all and UCF even though you won.
To be fair, you did completely blow Wisky the hell out

Actually as a thought experiment, let's try to figure out UCF.
Teams under consideration:
1) Five major conference champions
2) Notre Dame
3) 1 loss non-champions of the SEC or Big Ten (if it's a brand name, by which I mean Michigan or Ohio State)
Let's deal with the 1 loss non-champions first. Michigan can't fail to win the conference if they have one loss, so that's done. Ohio State would have to lose to MSU only or Michigan only and also have the team that beats them win out (or lose once, in Michigan's case) to be 11-1 and not make the Big Ten title game. The other option is Ohio State loses to the Big Ten West champion. Any of those scenarios would be VERY bad for UCF. Safest option: Ohio State wins out. They take playoff spot #1. Also just to be safe, you probably want Iowa to lose to somebody as they're sneakily on their way to 11-1 right now.
Next we need nobody to have just one loss and not win the SEC. I think the big danger here is LSU beats Alabama in Baton Rouge and they both win out otherwise. I think also if Florida and Kentucky both win out, Florida would be sitting at home for the SEC title game at 11-1, but that seems... unlikely. Still, root against that. Easiest path for UCF is just let Alabama go undefeated. They take playoff spot #2.
Next, Notre Dame. Best bet here is Notre Dame loses two games. Problem: the schedule is Navy in a down year, Northwestern in a down year, Florida State in a down year, Syracuse which is Syracuse, and USC. So the hope is they lose at USC and somehow biff one against one of those other four. Might squeak by if they lose to USC and Michigan and/or Stanford collapse to take away the appeal of their best win. But it's a money making enterprise, so I would guess any plausible ND team gets in.
Current playoff:
1. Alabama (13-0, SEC Champ)
2. Ohio State (13-0, Big Ten Champ)
3. ???
4. ???
Big 12: You want the champion here to have two losses, just to be safe. And you'd prefer it to be not-Texas for size of fan base reasons. And preferably West Virginia. Root for West Virginia against Texas, Oklahoma against West Virginia, Iowa State against everybody, and then ideally 2 loss West Virginia upsets 1 loss Oklahoma in the rematch in the Big 12 title game.
PAC-12: Same deal, you want a two loss champion. Fortunately that's already pretty easy. Just need Oregon and Colorado to lose once more. So root for that.
ACC: Hope the committee realizes the ACC is trash is your real best shot. I think you want NC State to beat Clemson, Clemson to drop another game somehow, and NC State to drop one. You might get in over 12-1 NC State with their only quality win being over 10-2 Clemson.
Need three of the ND/Big12/PAC-12/ACC scenarios to happen, or stuff to get real weird, I think. And then you'd get Alabama and die, so congrats? I do think y'all might a shot at the Buckeyes, who are not all that impressive to me.

To be fair, I feel like Tennessee's in the better spot; they just need... not even "good" coaching, just "marginally competent" coaching.
On the other hand, it seems like Mike Riley left Nebraska in a way worse spot than anybody could have predicted, and now Frost is stuck trying to fix a lot of that damage.

I am way too superstitious to make any kind of definitive comment regarding any other team UCF would have to play in a prospective playoff scenario.

I'm not, but I really think that the only slot UCF gets into is #4, and as of this point, all I can see is Alabama being #1.
So... that'll be a fun game. A game where the defending national champions and the Heisman winner are playing the school no one wants to be there. Which you can read either way, at this point in the season.
The race for first place is still pretty hot! Don't despair if you're not at the top, because as is tradition our annual rivalry game blowout is coming Thanksgiving weekend!
Maryland really dragging you down, I imagine. Also it probably thinks Oklahoma isn't that great, especially on defense.
A lot of is we're just not that efficient and play to our opponents' level. Not just Maryland, but Tulsa, Kansas State, and Baylor, that 4th quarter against OU, that kind of thing

So a lot hinges on Wyoming @ Fresno State (-17.5)! It's 13-3 Fresno late in the first half at the moment.
I am so happy
I mean, they should be winning because they're 6-1 to BYU's 3-3, but it's as close as you can get to a rivalry game, if not actually a rivalry game.
/BYU immediately goes on a long march for a TD.
Puddles 'bout to do duck murder to a bunch of ESPN staff.

There was a joke article last week about who would get their first win of the season first, Nebraska or Tennessee.
That Tennessee was the smart money is some batshit craziness.

I was close. UGA only falls to 6th in the coaches poll, bump Michigan and Texas down one each.
I hope you stub your toe really bad.
2. Ohio State
3. Clemson
