Hopefully they can manage this one since it has a stupid easy fucking premise and no hard hitting philosophical questions/plots to fuck up.
Neither did Dragonball Z

Dragonball is a pretty hard movie to try and adapt for the big screen, since most of the best stories happen much later and there is a lot of backstory built into them/doesn't get resolved in a short enough time frame.
MHA is literally just "everyone has superpowers, there is a superpower school, it gets attacked by villains what want kill big hero man"

I can't watch more than two episodes in a row where Deku starts crying because it triggers such a huge empathy response from me and I start crying and crying that much is exhausting
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor My new novel: Maledictions: The Offering. Now in Paperback!

Yeah! It's taking me forever to get caught up since I have to emotionally brace myself, and even after all the preparation, I have to walk it off.

Listen.
I don't know how far you are in right now.
But you can't emotionally brace yourself for this shit.
There is no emotional brace you have that will prepare you if base form Deku crying exhausts you.

I read something about this not going to be on Vrv/Crunchyroll anymore starting next month? Like it'll be Funimation only? The article was not the best.

I *think* the current seasons will stay there, but anything after will be exclusively on Funimation, including the subs/dubs?
The only annoying thing for me is that since I tend to watch MY JAPANESE ANIMES on the train, I use VRV's download option (which has been working more often than not lately), and so if there's no Funimation stuff that means I can't watch MHA in that instance.
Granted, that's a relatively minor issue all told, but still!
It was good to see Juzo a bit more. It had been said previously he'd gotten in on recommendations but other than placing well at the tournament and the flashback between Inasa and Todoroki which had him in the background we hadn't seen a lot of him. I'd like to know more about him because he's the only student we've met that got in on recommendations but didn't make Class A. Maybe I'm forgetting if we have, or if they counted Inasa but he dropped out after making it.
I at first read the guy whose quirk is Gyrate but rhymed with Karate (influenced partly because he was throwing down with Ojiro) and had to doubleback and read it again to absorb it properly.
As long as we’re still getting simulcast subs as well as dubs it’s fine.
I think they're moving all their stuff onto a different anime streaming site Funimation's parent company owns (Sony? IDK) that is paywalled but I'm not sure about this. I also forgot the name of the site.
This is the new site. $5.99 a month, $60 for a full year's sub. According to this article they're going to have some older titles on that platform too. Getting kind of sick of the... I guess it'd be Balkanization of TV streaming.

I know it's just this rando Tumblr source, but goddammit I want to believe
Noooo.
I'm not even a big Monster Hunter fan and look what they did with that.
Legendary are some of the last people I would ever want near a property I care about.

But yes that boy loves to cry
Spoilers for the end of the most recent season
But nothing is as fucking devastating as Bakugo's "Why did I have to be the one to end All-Might?!"
Steve Rogers style.
does this look like a great game? nope
does this look like a fun goofy mashing time with pals, absolutely

I think it’s available in Canada according to their website.
Hmm, guess they added Canada.
Sound like other countries beyond that might be hit or miss for content they can access
