Nope. She revealed she went bad due to the One More Day reset on Peter's identity which really fucked her up in the head. Pete re-revealed his identity to her and they're all good now.
It's kinda neat to see Aaron pick up what Cates has done with Venom, tying him into Gorr and the cosmic gods of the MU, and incorporating that into his big event.

It is set to decontruct the Indiana Jones archetype similar to (but almost certainly better because its Gillen instead Millar) how Kingsman tackled James Bond.
More interestingly, it is also going to tackle the...problematic history Great Britain has in regards to other culture's historical artifacts and legacies.

Considering the last time I saw Drac was Blade killing him with his crazy gun arm. I welcome a proper horror character returning. I wish the Marvel Horror classics still had weight in the current universe.
