That's a perfectly normal bear bod for a teenage/young adult bear.
Particularly one who lives on a freight plane and probably doesn't get out and about for much exercise or healthy eating.

Kit Cloudkicker and Molly "Danger Woman" Cunningham.
Daisy Duck
Darkwing Duck, Gosalyn Waddlemeyer, and Taurus Bulba. In the very first episode of the Darkwing Duck cartoon, Bulba was a crime lord who orchestrated the murder of Gosalyn's family, which led to her being adopted by Darkwing under his alias of Drake Mallard.
The Wuzzles, a Disney cartoon from the 80's that targeted a younger demographic than the Disney Afternoon fare. Butterbear and Rinokey, pictured here, have been slightly redesigned.
The Genie from the theatrically released, feature length Ducktales film. If you've never heard of it, just know that it's considered a flop even though Aladdin, considered to be one of Disney's all time classics, basically stole everything from it.
A few years after Ducktales ended, Disney greenlit another show called Quack Pack. The guy in charge of the show was a big fan of the original Donald Duck shorts but hated Ducktales, so he declared it to be non-canon and gave his show more of a sitcom formula, as opposed to adventure. Ducktales fans hated the show, and it was cancelled after a short first season. The show does have the distinction of being the first series to give the triplets their own individual personalities, which were basically the same as the ones they have in the Ducktales reboot, but all mixed up. Huey was the troublemaker, Dewey was the intellectual, and Louie was the athlete. Beakley and Scrooge are wearing their clothing from the old Ducktales, while Donald is wearing his classic sailor uniform from his old short cartoons.
Scrooge's true nemesis and the big bad of Season 3. Huge spoilers for Season 3! You have been warned!
Hold on.... why is there a grown up Kit and no Baloo?
Baloo might have retired
But none of the other characters have aged. So why has Kit aged?
Because in theory, Talespin occurred about 15 or 20 years before Ducktales
I think
I just hope Shere Khan makes an appearance
It makes sense. The tech levels in Talespin would seem to imply it happened closer to WWII than the present day.
Most (if not all) of the planes are prop driven, the pirates all used guns rather than missiles, even Cape Suzette was protected by a battery of flak cannons rather than anti air missiles or an airbase backed by radar. No computers around.
A few steampunky contrivances on occasion (I seem to recall a lightning gun? It's been a while). But most of it seems to fit in with a recent history setting more than a modern setting.

I'd like that, though who can they get to equal the fantastic voice of Tony Jay?
Corey Burton voiced Frollo in the Kingdom Hearts 3DS game, and has already done voice work for the Ducktales reboot as Ludwing von Drake and the B.U.D.D.Y. robot.

Yeah, Tailspin was meant to take place during the cold war. Thembria was a transparently obvious analogue to the Soviet Union.
I don't think I ever realized as a kid that Talespin was intended to take place in an earlier era.
Still.... i Ioved Talespin and want Baloo to show up too!
It's subtle in the show the big clue is the art design of the city but the Disney afternoon comics crossover place it in the late 40s iirc
I don't think 12 year old me would have figured that out. I got the design choices to have all the planes be prop driven, whereas we lived in a real world of jet engines aircraft... but I never equated that choice to represent an allegory of a post WW2 world.
Could just leave the gargoyles as they were. I mean, they weren't substantially more humanoid than the average Ducktale's character is now. Maybe just slap a beak on them (aside from Brooklyn, who already had a beak).

It's a thing that happens to any Disney show. It isn't specific to DuckTales.

And BUBBA CLUBBA!
This is pretty much turning into Disney Afternoon: The Show. And I love it.
I would tell you to call me when they get the Gargoyles in there.
But you won't have to. I'll already be there.
So hype.
He's old.
Also, the one left of Bulby looks dope as hell.

He was the proto poochy and apparently hated by the writers

What animals should they be? Here's what I'm thinking:
Goliath = Pelican
Hudson = Goat
Broadway = Pig
Brooklyn = Condor
Lexington = Bat
Bronx = Totally unchanged
Elisa Maza = Dog
David Xanatos = Dog
Owen Burnett = Duck
Also, the fact Danger Woman was a radio serial, instead of a TV show.

Xanatos, I think, needs to be a Coyote.
