Could just leave the gargoyles as they were. I mean, they weren't substantially more humanoid than the average Ducktale's character is now. Maybe just slap a beak on them (aside from Brooklyn, who already had a beak).
Xanatos, I think, needs to be a Coyote.
Nah, too confusing. He already had multiple robot versions of himself that went by Coyote, alongside the setting having the actual mythical figure of Coyote in multiple episodes. I'd say tiger, except Tailspin already had that character in their awesome executive version of Shere Khan and it would end up being basically the same thing.

Everyone in the Gargoyles verse is exactly how they are in their Cartoon, and it's part of a different wizard's curse.
Gargoyles have a variety of face types so of they did appear on the show they should just be the same.
Also they are Scottish
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.

Tear in reality crossing the Duckverse with the Gargoyleverse as the rebooted archmage rips the fabric of reality? Everyone in the Duckverse is animal and talks, but Gargoyleverse has humans and monsters and myth, and you cross the two via a larger story arc that reveals multiple "-verses".
Yes, the Disney animated multiverse.

Story/comic book brought to life.
That'll be how they introduce Bonkers Bobcat into the show.
Cartoon character brought to life by Gyro-invented holodeck that turns evil. Goes on a slapstick rampage across Duckburg. Fenton's mom is the only one who's successfully able to reason with him, and she convinces him to join the police force.

Human-nosed characters in the Duckverse is a big no no. That's one of the reasons why Quack Pack sucked. Even if everything else about them stays the same, the noses have to change.

Yes, the Disney animated multiverse.
I don't want Gargoyles to be a multiverse thing because that changes the culture shock aspect of the story from "whoa, mythical creatures from 1000 years ago" to "whoa, aliens from a parallel universe where everything is completely different".
Save multiverse stuff for the Mighty Ducks episode.
Oh, the solution is obvious! The Gargoyles-verse crosses over with the DAM by way of the Fluffy Dogs, a Disney animated special that was about, well, fluffy dogs who could travel to other worlds/alternate realities with a magic key they had. Basically, it was Sliders before Sliders. And there you go, now the multiverse is your oyster!

Just saying; Coyote looks like Xanatos, Xanatos should look like a coyote.
I mean, it doesn't seem likely to happen (the Gargoyles showing on Ducktales). And if it does happen, it seems unlikely that it would be anything more than a one or two episode thing, so them taking a deep dive into the lore of Gargoyles seems even less likely to happen. But, a quick sight gag like that would be a clever nod to that lore for the people who recognize it, while being just a character design choice for those who don't.
I think implicitly tying genius Xanatos in with Wile E. Coyote, Super Genius, is also clever. At least, it gives me a bit of a chuckle even knowing Wile E is a Warner Bros character so the connection would never be explicitly stated. But then I'm easily amused. Have him introduce himself with a business card that says "Have Brain - Will Travel" and just go on with the story.
As much as I love this show becoming a gateway to the Disney Afternooniverse, I'd much rather keep Gargoyles out of it. It's such a different show, and relies on being set in the "real" world.
Now, would love a revival made by a team with as much skill and love for the source material as the DuckTales team?

Fluppy Dogs.
But otherwise I agree, and that now would be the best time to bring Fluppy Dogs back, at a point where this time they might not bomb horribly. Because the concept of dimension-hopping tech-advanced dogs is just ludicrous enough to work in this current time of animated shenanigans.

Gargoyles should clearly be part of the Gummi Bears continuity.
Gummi Bears is already canon for Ducktales continuity too now isnt it?
Yes, albeit in the middle ages, making potential crossovers somewhat inconvenient.
Although that would be a funny joke, if the Ducktales cast tried to introduce the Gummi Bears to the Gargoyles, only to find out that they already know each other.

Time travel has already occurred in Ducktales though.
So, inconvenient? Yes. Impossible? Not really.

I mean, the trailer already showed an episode with
the time tub causing time to collapse. All this might happen sooner rather than later...
I bought two copies of Ducktales Remastered. One is a WiiU physical copy. The other is a PS3 code with a pin in a PS3 disc case. I really wanted the pin.
It's kind of depressing to think now that virtually all the principle actors of the game and OG show have now passed away. But also inspiring in that at the very least they got to have one last rodeo thanks to the game.

The scrooge VA was like, in his late 90s when the game came out.
It was nuts!

The whole cast was old. And honestly... you could hear their age it in the performances.
While it's true they had lost a step, it wasn't nearly as bad as when Mel Blanc kept getting trotted out for those Looney Tunes specials in the 80s that stitched together old cartoons with new segments.
On The Animation Podcast, an animator for Mickey's Christmas Carol talks about getting Clarence Nash to voice Donald Duck for Mickey's Christmas Carol. Nash was retired, around 80, and hadn't played the part in 15 years, and anyway it's a delightful story. Click this and jump to 35min:

Magicka's OG VA did the game as well and she was even older than he was.
