It has a neat deal where going from playing a standard Zaku to a gundam you can feel why one is superior. Its just a instant oh wow everything is fast and moves better
Got back from Japan recently. Decided to put together this lil guy from a Gundam gacha machine.
This was a 300 yen deal from a line of tiny little model kits. It's made from some sort of super soft plastic. Almost feels like rubber. Neat little thing though!

Released everywhere in the West (not in Belgium) :bigfrown:

kinda had this neat realization that this is basically multiplayer Zeonic Front.

That G40 design is mobile as all hell, which makes it a little weird to me that they turned the waist skirt armor into one solid piece. I kinda liked that one concept they had in the article linked a while back where the skirt armor slid up into itself to accommodate the legs moving up.

Oh huh, that's what the new Masterpiece 3.0 Convoy does.

Yeah they released a small line of gundam action figures that they designed "for america". They're pretty basic, and the Unicorn in particular is kinda bleh.
Mudrock is basically the Federation just combining the Gundam and Guncannon prototypes, right?
morrre or less, it's technically the 6th gundam in the line (the one we all know and love is the RX-78-2 and this is the 78-6), i think it's meant to be comparable to the Alex but sacrifices armor and overall performance for ridiculous firepower
in other news: the G40 gundam will only be available through bluefin in america, and it's up for preorder here

Don't talk to me or my son ever again.
Shame
Anyone else looking to try it should log on soon. They are giving away the top 10 most popular units as a catch up dealie

Holy cow that mobility
No kidding. From about 5:00 on, they go into mobility features. Completely different engineering from anything I've seen in gunpla.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

the way all the joints are white also feels very faithful to the anime even if all the mechanics are modernised
Getting started on the RG Nu Gundam.

Finished the leg. This is looking really good so far in fact I might have to get a second kit so I can leave the armor off this one.
GunplaLab did a super cool purge effect on that kit that looked amazing.

look at this good boy
look at these rotatable arms
gonna be a while before mine arrives but i can't wait
but yeah, pbandai unfortunately, out later this year
as someone who was never all that keen on the suit i think this is the best it's ever looked
The paint job on the latter was horrible! Seriously, how dare it call itself...
*squints*
An action figure?

Kind of neat for more casual Gundam fans who just want a little figure though.
I like armor purge effect and ordered the plastic but a second kit would mean 2 sets of fin funnels and weaponry...
... says the guy known for doing multiple legs and who wants the extra P-bandai fin funnels... >.>
Have to be honest, I'm not sure if you're saying this as a positive or a negative to getting a second kit.

also i don't think it's been talked about here, but here is a pbandai Build Divers kit that's basically a retooled Rick Dias with some AoZ-but-not-AoZ flavoring, release announced for next january
it features new improved joints from the old HG and a gun that uses an entire extra Rick Dias head as a scope
