    16 hours into Andromeda now and... I really like it. It's flawed for sure but the things I enjoy outweigh the things I don't. I really like Ryder, he has more character than Shepard ever did. I'd buy a sequel to this.

    One of Andromeda's biggest strengths is the main cast, they feel more like a family unit or a close group of friends than the Shepard Trilogy cast ever did, even during the big party.

    A large part of that is because the set-up means they are actively choosing to hang out with each other and work together, whereas Shepard's crew were usually bound together either by military duty or massive crisis.

    Smof, make sure you do the movie night questline. It is very good

    It turns out that hydrocodone is not conducive to playing Outer Worlds or Disco Elysium, so I've been spending my recovery immersed in the lukewarm ramen noodles of Civ 6.

    I just had a remarkably peaceful religion victory as the Vikings. The one battle I was involved with was as part of an emergency to retake a city state from that psychopath Gorgo.
