I mean it would be awesome if they did a fortnite thing of literally killing the servers for a period of time, but there's no way they will do that.
Well, intentionally anyway. With the amount of people likely to flood the servers and the City in particular tomorrow, I could see more then the Almighty crashing.
Alright, my review of stuff:
Good:
- The NPCs moving, most especially the Vanguard and Shaxx, was cool.
- The atmosphere on the Tower was good. People were using Local text chat and having fun with that. I directed the entire Tower to visit Zavala after and it was a trip seeing 12+ people respond to my info so quickly.
- The Earth shattering kaboom was very neat looking. The piece that flew right at us was a great touch.
- I like that Zavala and Ana had something to say about victory.
Not good:
- 90 minutes is insanely too long. 30 minutes of that being people wondering if it was even happening was horrible. You don't start a movie a half hour late, don't start this late. Grace period of 10 minutes would be fine.
- Every NPC on the Tower should at least have a text box, if not voice lines, about this. Shaxx, Hawthorne, and Ikora all moved to watch, but then had nothing to say afterwards. Ana should have been on the Tower for this.
Unclear:
- Please have a mission at the Almighty crash site next season. We should get to see it!
Year 4 Destiny Content Vault Preview
Here is an early preview of some of what’s going into the Destiny Content Vault (DCV) and what’s returning in Year 4.
Returning from the DCV
On September 22, 2020:
Cosmodrome as a selectable, explorable destination (but not yet at full Destiny 1 parity on 9/22).
Note: We’re looking to leverage Cosmodrome’s initial return to expand the new Guardian origin story to the world of Destiny. Veteran players will be able to experience that story as well.
Cosmodrome’s Will of Crota strike will also be added to the strikes playlist for all players.
During Season 13:
Cosmodrome will be fleshed out to roughly Destiny 1 Year 1 parity.
Cosmodrome’s The Devil’s Lair and Fallen S.A.B.E.R. strikes return.
During Year 4:
Destiny 1’s first raid, Vault of Glass, returns.
Heading to the DCV
On September 22, 2020:
Io, Titan, Mercury, Mars, and Leviathan will be cycled out and no longer be accessible.
This includes all PvE activities (including campaigns) on those destinations.

That's the Exo-Stranger. She hasn't been seen in Destiny since D1's core-story. She did get mentions throughout Warmind though.
