YouTube banned Stefan Molyneaux. While complaining he called his channel "the largest philosophy conversation the world has ever known" which is a delightful cap on the whole thing. Goodbye, racist shithead

After teaming up to play Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II, Woolie and Youtube musician Little V are sticking together for another game. Much like the previous game, Woolie's blind to Halo on a whole as he's only played some of the original game's multiplayer. What's different here is that they're playing the campaign co-op instead of Little V coaching like before.

I liked the comic this was based on. The TV show, not so much. Shame the former got screwed up after Marvel bought Malibu. Can't believe one of his last (if not THE last) comic-book appearances was a team-up story with Gambit.
You know I really disliked them back then as I felt it was being pushed because of marketing and other things as this was one of the things that made me stop listening to the radio {I knew about marketing and other things about songs just not fully before this era}
As thier hit songs plays often on the radio at work and I don't have the same level of disgust of it I once did just more indifference anymore
Also, spoilers for both games' story. I had no intention of playing either (though I did watch someone play through TLoU1) and this gave me a much better appreciation for what the sequel is doing, or trying to do.

I've only one thing to say:
The Antonine and Cypriot Plagues, coupled with the incessant political instability as the military interests diverged from civilian interests, with vigorous invasions by ambitious Persians and brand new tribal confederations much larger and Romanized than ever before, topped by climate conditions disrupting agriculture, more than explains the Roman population decline. Not female sexual immorality, you silly goose.

the only thing I remember about Night Man was that I thought whomever played the villain was fucking phenomenal

If only these people actually cared about history, biology or any other cherry picked/discredited hammers they swing around to justify their bigotry.

With this and Slate Star Codex getting burnt to the ground because the New York Times outed the full name of its owner, it's been a bad week for the "rationalist" set.
(And yes, I get the argument that the Times doxxed Alexander - but given that his complaint is less "this move endangers me" and more "potential clients may be turned off by my creating a safe space for bigots", my sympathy is...limited.)

God that reminds me of a video I saw in one of these threads, Rabbi...Shimon? It was related to Jewish folk music influence in Japan or at least was brought up in reference to it, it drives me slightly mad to find it

I remember hearing that Hasidic music influenced anime and JRPG music.

I dig it but no, I do remember the video had a static background and it defnitely was studio produced not live
