Shocking, but unsurprising. White Power groups are going to be going extra bonkers between now and inauguration. I'm bracing myself for more terrorist actions on their part.
Just thinking about the difference in responses to White people rioting because they oppose a peaceful transition of power to Black people protesting because they aren't treated with humanity.
How we dealt with the leadership after the war was over was not, in my estimation, healthy.
It's funny.
Because if Americans had lost the revolution, the leaders would have all hung or went to exile in French territory. Because none of them were equals to the nobility and no one was equal to the King.
But in the Civil War, everyone went to the same universities, intermarried and in DC socialized.
So despite being the political and thought leaders of a movement that killed more Americans before or since, everyone gets to go home.
