A pizza is an open-faced sandwich, so folding it or stacking it completes the loop and it becomes a sandwich.

My preference was doing both at the same time.

This is not a healthy way of eating, which is why it was called an "artery sandwich".

No, it's still just pizza. Which is not a sandwich. Next up you'll tell me that a taco or an Oreo is a sandwich, and the world will descend into etymological chaos.

A pizza is already an open faced sandwich. It is toppings on top of bread after all

So what, is pie a sandwich too?!

"Open faced sandwich" is already a contradiction in terms. It's just because you Anglo-American types lack the proper word for putting topping on bread that you have to bend backwards and contradict the concept of meat between two slices of bread to create such a linguistic bastard. Just say "smörgås" like normal people, sheesh.

An Oreo is absolutely a sandwich cookie (they call it that on the packaging), but I agree that a taco is not a sandwich. It's closer to a wrap.

Why would people fold their pizza
Are they trying to fuck it or something

It is apparently a method New Yorkers use to carry pizza slices.

NY pizza slices are apparently fuck-huge.

That slice isn't really large enough to warrant folding

    I tried Costco pizza today.

It tasted exactly as you would expect for an overly large three dollar slice of pizza.

It looks floppy enough that it would be difficult to eat otherwise.

Maybe it works out on the USD-dollarydoo conversion, but it sounds like you're really getting fucked over there

The slices are $2 here in the states

The reason you fold NYC pizza isn't necessarily size (although they are often large slices)

It's to give it some stability and make it easier to carry with you as you eat on the go

You're not picking it up and taking a bite, you're picking it up, throwing out the paper plates, and walking three blocks

Actually when you take off gst, and then convert to USD I’m only paying like ten cents for the country to not be on fire.

No but see, this would force all business owners to shutter because then food would be too expensive and people would just not buy it. So they can't raise prices to prevent fires, they're thinking of us.
