The cherry on top of Amazon's absurdist horror screaming booth is the fake clouds pattern on the ceiling. Like, that's a joke directly out of Terry Gilliam's Brazil.
Am I weird that I feel bad for the lady and her team that developed this? Like their hearts were in the right place, but this feels like something that was meant to go to the offices to try out, and then or stuck it in a warehouse because that is how most people picture Amazon's physical spaces.

It's a very nicely designed bandaid, but the ills the original tweet promoted it for are beyond its paygrade.

I've grown to really enjoy Ozzy Man reviews videos. I don't even know if he's actually Australian or just doing a ridiculous put on. It's part of the fun.

Unfortunately Billi isn't feeling well, and will have to stay in the hospital for a few days. ⠀

I've spoken a bit on her two chronic conditions: Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and polycystic kidneys. Right now it's her kidneys that aren't working at full capacity.
i think the voice buttons are an interesting tool to give your dog but i think a lot of people think their animals are comprehending them in a very different way than they likely are
They're not herding dogs though. I mean, they were used as herding dogs, but they were really multiuse dogs that were used for everything from tracking to flushing out prey to herding to accompanying the kids (and used by both herding sami and forest sami).
It's a wonderful breed if you live in temperate (or colder) and rural terrain. While they're gentle enough (both to humans and other dogs) to manage in cities they're happiest when they have a lot of room.

As someone who sees overdoses and uses narcan regularly, that is the most bizzare reaction. Of course the local news copaganda station didn't want to consult an MD for their report.

Scan-reading and missing the "sees" in that post on the first read through really makes a difference
We'd see a lot more sumo in MMA if matches were fought on the side of a cliff and ring-outs were legal.
Or if people were wearing armor.

In the upsettingly data rich field of "sumo vs. kickboxer" it turns out that being huge doesnt make your skull any less vulnerabe to being kicked apart

Back in 1999-2003/2004 or so, I hung out on the IGN forums. For reasons beyond my understanding, I got invited to a private forum on there called the "IGN Underground," A place where the Nintendo editors could talk ... stuff. The big thing for me was that it didn't have drive-by trolls or the like, and there were also folks in the US Nintendo 2nd/3rd party ecosystem. For instance, Dennis Dyack of Silicon Knights and Julian Eggebrecht of Factor 5.
Over time, Matt Casamassina and Fran Mirabella would basically provide behind the scenes scuttlebut. Like, somewhere I have some documents/instructions on how the Dolphin's graphics chip works, in terms of features its pipeline can provide.
One of the big things we followed was Metroid Prime, and this whole story. Made better by the fact that one of the developers was on the forum. It's such an insane story. I've got a couple anecdotes, but without watching the video I don't want to share them in case the video goes over them. But needless to say, the playboy nature of the head of Retro Studios was insane, and I honestly cannot believe Prime turned out as good as it did.

It's terrible how they break the 180-degree rule.
I cannot explain why but the trend of those voice button things for animals makes me very uncomfortable.

*Button* *Always* *Here* *No* *Attention* *Button*
"Huh. Guess they came with the set."
Just let them enjoy their game of Simon's Owner Says
My dog would eat the buttons, probably before I set them all down
