Update on this now that the Death Battle episode is out:
Atypically for Death Battle, they had Steven retain his pacifistic tendencies and try to stop the fight until he got triggered into Pink Steven mode (the form he was in when he shattered Jasper). Though apparently Star Butterfly has spells that are powerful enough to let her blow up planets and destroy entire dimensions, which I was unaware of, so Steven lost.
I saw a comment on the video that pretty much summed up my own reaction:
Steven is definitely gonna wi-
"spell that can destroy the universe"

Presumably it's the same percentage as a Superchat, it's just the non-live video equivalent. They've also added a clip button to some things, not sure where it comes into play and not yet.

Yes. But for a moment Rose was worse than Hitler in the fan base.
Given the messages the show put forth I found the reactions from the louder parts of its fanbase to be extremely disappointing. We were repeatedly shown the characters to be flawed, and struggling and working to deal through said flaws, but the way some people reacted you'd think any kind of flaw was direct approval of it by the show itself.
I'm sure this was a minority of the fanbase, but boy did it get loud at times.
