If you kill me and taunt you're pretty much reducing your chances of being screen-shotted by about forty percent. So you need a lot of circumstantial badassity to equal it out.
TF2 is officially the most infuriating game ever. I swear the fucking thing tracks how well you do, and eventually tries to slap a penalty on you for doing too good(like, over the course of many games). Then if you continue to do well with said penalty, they'll up it exponentially until you truly ARE fucked.
It's the only explanation I have for the wild differences in my killing and survival abilities. It's incredible. I really need to break something. I must make the world burn.
That or it's the pub play while no one's on PA servers.

Probably going to get lost in the switch between threads, but CTF_Impact2 is now up and running. Not a whole lot of changes, it's mostly a "maintenance" update with bug fixes. Hopefully it should now be the final "final".
FINAL 2.0 "The match feedback version" CHANGES:
-Another exit has been added to the side of both resupply rooms to prevent spawn camping.
-The glass has been reworked so players cannot get unlucky and be stuck in it when it returns. It now has a door that closes initially and then the invisible section pushes players up above the glass location and then spawns the glass. Before, players would get stuck in the invisible section that pushed them up when IT spawned, but the new door that closes when it comes back will prevent this.
-A 10 second warning now appears before the glass returns.
-Various misaligned textures and brushes have been fixed.
-The elevators in the ramproom now span the whole width of their location and you can't get stuck below them anymore.
-Respawn doors no longer fade out far away with DirectX 7.
-The sniper deck is slightly higher to prevent a bug where a player could get stuck in the ceiling.
-Clipping issues around the base have been fixed.
-Turned off forcible fade on props that players could hide behind on the roof.
-Engineers can no longer build directly outside of a respawn door.
-Respawn doors open slightly faster.
-Some detail props along walls have been made nonsolid

I always wondered, why don't people play hwguy more often on the PA servers? Every time I play one, I absolutely wreck... I'm like a strafing sentry gun that can sneak up on people. And yet... I hardly ever see people playing them.
cue "i play hwguy a lot" from 10x people-- I know there are some people who play it, I'm just not sure why there aren't more. 400 people per team play demoman even though they have -no- idea how to do so and never get any kills, yet hardly any hwguy... weird.

Maybe it's the nature of the Medic, but some games I do pretty well and other games I'll spend more time respawning than playing.
