The first time I ever had zaru soba was at a little mom and pop across the street from my apartment building in Japan. Near as I can tell it’s actually still there.
It was served kind of like in the video, but instead of the little bamboo plate being nestled inside the round, decorative bowl thingy, it was raised up on top. So I’d never eaten it before, and the thing looked like a bowl, so I figured “I mean, I guess I pour the sauce in too and the bowl catches it?
Except it ain’t a bowl… it has no bottom. It’s just a little platform. Which became obvious as the sauce leaked out of the bottom.
I ate and fled before my error was discovered by the staff.
Now, you’re thinking “well, of course, sarukun, you vowed to never go back again, or be honor bound to commit seppuku immediately upon setting foot in that establishment”. Unfortunately, the noodles were damn good and I wanted more.
I avoided the place for six weeks, hoping they would forget my transgression.
Gentle reader, it turns out that when you live in a small town of a few thousand people in central Japan, it takes a shitload longer than six weeks to forget the white guy who had a lot of questions about the menu and poured sauce over his noodles and into a bottomless decorative noodle platform. They explained very patiently the next time I ordered zaru soba the proper method for consumption.
I’m glad I went back, I ate there a lot over the next two years, but I’m still embarrassed and have minor panic attacks reliving that moment to this day.

Time Stone: Draw a card and give it -1 Cost.
Leech: On Reveal: Remove the text from each card with an On Reveal ability in your opponent's hand.
M'Baku: At the end of the game, this jumps from your deck to your lowest-Power location (that isn't full).
Mantis: 2/3 -> 2/2 On Reveal: If your opponent played any cards here this turn, copy of them into your hand.
Cable: 3/4 -> 2/3 On Reveal: Draw a card from your opponent's deck.

Finally a graveyard! The amount of times I miss the card Sokovia discards is ridiculous.
Yes, in Japan, robust slurping is perfectly acceptable. If you don’t want to, nobody is going to give you are hard time about it, but I find it really helps put a wad of too-hot noodles in your gob without burning your mouth.
Beyond that I’m not totally sure what you mean by “proper”. Try not to drip everywhere, have at it, enjoy.
Edit: if you like the soup you can just put the bowl to your face, no need to go digging with the spoon, drink it on up.
I believe this should put Lamentis-1 into the "super rare" category of Ego and World Ship.
