I think I might pick warframe back up over the holidays and catch up on the story. I haven't played in several years though and I have no idea where I left off.
What's everyone's e-reader of choice? I have a Kindle Oasis and it's...fine, but kind of slow, clunky, and crashes more than I'd like.
I started with the 4th gen kindle paperwhite (the 6 inch one), now I'm using the latest kindle basic, it's the right size for me (6 inches), if I need to organise it, I just use the app then connect my kindle to the wifi and it rearranges itself to match the app. It's responsive, hasn't crashed, but I haven't tried to rearrange anything on the kindle itself, I just do it on the app.

I have used the Kindle and it is plodding but stable. I don't think i have had a single crash in over 5 years of Paperwhite usage. Although them trying to keep justifying the high price by adding unnecessary shit is annoying. My newest one, 10th gen, has like 30gb of storage. That's like 10k books. And i know audio books take up more room but not that much more. If you can get a good deal on a used one they are excellent for just reading books on.
And that's why I usually only bother with 9-11 of the abyss. When I think about it.
I would say Theater's focus on random teams does make it somewhat different from HSR's Sim Uni, since that one was basically just "steamroll with your usual teams anyways" when I last played.
I really like my Kobo Libra 2 (That is now superseded by the Colour). I don't have much to compare it to.
I'm guessing it has about 10-12h of screentime with backlight, which is what I use. Charge every other book is how it feels to me. It holds a charge while off forever, I didn't use it for 2 months over the summer and it booted with 90% charge.
The boot time is a little slow, maybe 15s or so. Everything else is fairly fast. Opening a new book is 3s, anything in the menus is fairly snappy.
I hold it one handed and press the page button with my thumb.
No DRM, you can just drop things in the main file directory and it'll pick it up.
I do have a few problems with windows not always picking it up as a device over USB, but I'm guessing that's a windows thing not a device thing. It always works the second time I plug it in one port over, which in some ways is even weirder. (This happens going port A to port B, as well as port B to port A, maybe I need a Techpriest)
I don't use the wifi/BT at all because in general managing things with kbam from my PC is good enough, and I don't have to learn anything new that way.
Dark sector kind of sucks, but it's interesting in a kind of bug in amber historical sense of looking at the shit they were forced to make as the vision for their game was compromised into the ground just to get publishers to give them the time of day.
Also people seem to be overestimating how much warframe 1999 ties into dark sector. It's not really tied together, it's more of a tone and aesthetic homage, but also homaging digital extremes' much more successful earlier work on unreal and unreal tournament, which was actually around 1999.
Had some good luck these last couple days for relic cracking.
Finished off Ivara Prime without much fuss, have most of what I need for Quassus Prime except for one more handle, ended up getting the last piece I needed for Atlas Prime so he is in the oven right now. Ended up grabbing the incarnons for both Dread and Hate (have Rivens for both) will need to muck around with my build for the Dread as I pretty much only ever use it with Ivara in a perma stealth form. My riven for it right now works great with the bow as is, (nothing fancy, likely could be way better but its just 151.5% slash, 226.8% damage.) other mods are Unseen Dread, Hunter Munitions, Vital Sense, Galvanized Chamber, and still Serration and Fanged Fusillade (its an old build...) likely can drop both Fanged and Serration due to the Riven but I cant argue with the results. Problem arises when you turn on incarnon form.. I lose a bunch of damage and lose stealth unless I am using a Cloak Arrow.. but even then enemies seem to make a beeline directly to me while I am firing so it seems I lose stealth just long enough for them to see me but lose me and dont attack. Not sure if this means I am losing the bonus from Unseen Dread. Will need to test.
Hate Incarnon is pretty nice, was not expecting the projectile. Running more of a condition overload build, my Riven could be better but its not too bad, 120% crit chance on slide and 83.7 Heavy Attack Efficiency (I like my heavy slams). Going to have to play with this one a bit, really need to toss a weapon speed on it , or just use this guy on various speed boosting frames.
Also for some reason decided I wanted to try to get myself a Growing Power... I remember running that when I started and now that I have my Oxylus with the plant scanning mod gathering what I need is a hell of a lot faster for Nightfall Apothics.
Ill ping alliance chat when I decide to burn through some incase anyone wants to tag along and bring some apothics too.

But after the gym tonight, I'm heading into the zone.
There are some artifacts that lower rads. Also there is at least one suit that has an upgrade that makes the first artifact slot never give rads.

Time for Kuminga, Wiggins, and Moody to get a lot of shots up

I see, didn't pay attention, but subtracting 5 min you still got 2 guys at 40.
it baffles me how Wiggins is this bad at making layups, still
What are the odds of DE updating darkSector to include Warframe 1999 content?
