And when I think about it, doesn't that basically put me at equal paying for people who either die a lot (casters) or people who have to repair weapons a lot (melees)
I've just been using Steady Shot - Waiting for Autoshot - Steady Shot and combined with EP's super arrows I am some kind of DPS machine
I gotta use up 10,000 arrows here people
Oh man dely... but just think of how expensive that is.
I crunched the math on the cost of arrow while raiding... hunters should TOTALLY bitch more than ever other class on the use of mats for raiding.
Is it greater then 40g per run?
Total cost including mats for potions.. or just general abilities.
1 stack of Mysterious Arrows costs 90s
I go through at least 12 stacks of arrows in one night of raiding (1/2 of kara) so figure 24g in arrows alone.
My pet only eats meat... so that's another 4g a night or 8 g total
Then there's another say 5 g in pet food that buffs my pet... sooo 10g
So yes.. 42g in what are essentially reagents. I could save money on pet foods if i wanted.. and buy cheaper arrows. But then any other class that uses reagents could also single target buff, bringing their raid costs -repairs to 0

That's about what a night's repair bill costs me as a tank. Not counting my reagent cost or flask costs.

Thats not counting flasks or repair costs for him as well.
Its not as easy to get out of combat as a hunter anymore -_-

you can't figgure flasks into it... no way.. I mean I could buy flasks too sure. I could do a lot of things to run up the charges more.
and that 42 g was not including my 30g+ repair bill

ravager or boar all up ins (for leveling that is)
(also when I get around to reactivating)
thats actually what I used, I used a boar until I could get a ravager (I snuck into the draeni starting zone to get one) and used that ravager until I got to 70 and started macroing and micromanaging my hunter to optimize dps. Wind serpents with their breath attack being added into your macro work the best on everything except mobs that have nature resis.

I had a windserpent but had to ditch him to make room for taming beasts for new abilities. not that it really matters, I can just train one in outland. in BGs I had fun targeting players that were well out of range of my bow, but sending my ravager after them. especially if they were more or less ignoring me because they thought I wasn't a threat and then suddenly they've got a ravager in their face. hardly deadly, but a fun way to harass them.

man its hard to see when you got a wind serpent or dragon hawk biting you on your ass.
Aimed shot is bad for DPS rotations in TBC, it resets Auto-shot, doesn't allow us to use any of our other instants/steady, and does marginally more damage in a single shot while we could easily get much more from the 2-3 you can get in that time.

it also sucks the butt for synergy with your various on-crit/hit abilities

sometimes I just want to murder things with an axe
Naw, the slow killing speed of prot is overstated even on casters.
I have a mental block when it comes to the words overstated and understated so i had to read thatl ike four times to make sure i agree with you
but yeah, prot kills fine. Solo in your threat set instead of your tank set, killing one solo mob, judge Crusader, Seal Righteousness, and autoattack. If you're specced for reckoning, they'll go down quick if that procs, and if not, you can drop Consecration
pfft here comes an elite i'll just go solo it while you run like a girl
whats that, I can kill 70 rarespawn elites faster than you can kill 70 non elites?
futility if you open up the macro screen you can shift click spells to put them in.
You don't want to put hunter's mark or pet attack in that macro it will cause you to run out of mana and cause your pets dps to drop off (i don't know why but the pets dps drops alot. I imagine its because its re-aquiring its target or some stupid ai shit)

ha ha bullets eventually cost 2g per stack
enjoy paying a silver every time you attack you ranger fucks
If you're exaulted with Aldor or Scrayer, it's only 1g 60 silver.
It could be worse
The ham could be 2g apiece

Doesn't seem to work for me. It's not casting arcane shot.
Why no aimed shot in it too?
I'm not 70 so I am trying not to min/max myself very hard :P
I will have to check it out when I get home. I actually never notice it casting arcane shot on mine I usually hand weave that in.
I'm not gonna put aimed shot in there because I manually do aimed shot.
I have one too. named vomit. he's my "fucking christ i hate mobs with NR" pet.
it was a pretty good crab
rip
it also sucks the butt for synergy with your various on-crit/hit abilities
What exactly has NR outside of AQ40 these days, sir
I imagine Huhuran isn't being done much, ha
I want to get it to cast hunters mark and target my pet's target... how do i do this?
adopt a dying orphan and have him make a wish for you?

crusader strike

Pfft....Avenger's shield is where it's at.
why are your trade skills so low?
because i got slack while levelling up, and my main already has mining, and blacksmithing is apparently pretty useless at endgame for a tankadin
so i'm planning to drp them both for Enchanting and Engineering.
Not sure when though.
also get off my back man
man
I'm siphoning money from my Warlock to pay for my Pally's tradeskills. I need level 35 to get Artisan Engineering and I should hit 300 by 40 or so.
Mining is a bitch though. Gatherer mod is a big help though.
Steam: YOU FACE JARAXXUS| Twitch.tv: CainLoveless
I feel you. I've got a sword speced tankadin on another server. I hit 375 mining and was all... well fuck.
But there's always hope...

shit yes
I'm excited to see the first half
