I wear glasses, but my last pair broke two years ago and I've never replaced them. I just use contacts all the time.

Not to derail the thread but you have the potential to cosplay. Also you have pretty big eyes for a spec wearer.

I want to have a whole bunch of different, stylish glasses frames in different colors and such, so I can switch it up depending on how I feel/what I'm wearing/what the weather is like

But my prescription is so bad that each pair would cost me, like, $300+. :(

if you're talking about Franko, he is not Asian, he is very, very, VERY white

I only know this because I have met him

also I don't think I've ever had a problem putting contacts in or taking them out... it's gotten to the point where I can actually touch my eyeball itself while trying to pull out a wonky lens

    and I'd like contacts again

but after everything it will be like five hundred dollars and I don't need to see that badly.

yea once you get it theres nothin to it

i stopped wearing contacts about 6 months ago, and even then i was only wearing them like once a week or fortnight
then a week or two ago i went to get a haircut and put them in so i can see what they are cutting and not just get suprised at the end

i meant to take them out before driving home but i realised they were still in just after i had started driving so i pulled over quickly and took them out and flicked them out the window and put my glasses on and it all took about 15 seconds

Thing is with contacts is that its just a matter of time and practice before your eye learns to relax enough where you can get em in and out easy.

That being said I still can't put eye drops in.

I started wearing glasses when I was 13 or so. My parents were against me getting contacts, but then my volleyball coach suggested I go for contacts to wear for sports purposes.

    I was all :D.

I have, to date, lost 4 pairs of prescription glasses over the side of a boat while racing.

3 pairs of sunglasses and a pair of regular specs on a really overcast day.

That's about a grand that is now just sitting at the bottom of a lake. Whoops.

Best remedy for this reflex problem is to get one of those eye-rinser thingies. You know, you pour the solution into a special-shape cap that you put around your eye, then you tilt your head back holding the cap in place and then blink a lot.

Naturally it's a question of getting your eye open, but usually after this you become more comfortable with things going into your eyes.

also, i've been buying my glasses at the philippines whenever we visit family. like $40 for a decent pair. so i buy 2 or 3 at a time for variety. even though i get the same basic look, small squarish black frames. ah well.

the easy solution is to tilt your head back and pour the saline bottle all around the eye

and ive seen some eyedrop things where you close your eyes and spray this stuff on and i dunno its supposed to absorb through the eyelid or something?
maybe it just seeps in at the sides when you open your eyes
but then thats the same as pouring the contact solution all around

I had my one month eye appointment after surgery today. My left eye is 20/15 and my right is 20/25. They said it shouldn't be long before my right eye improves.

If it doesn't though, I should invest in a monocle.

Does he ever go into women's change rooms, and say 'it is ok ladies I'll just take my glasses off, so I can't see any of the naughty bits' and then all the girls get naked and start making out with each other? Does that happen?
