Is the A/I book any good? I'm not into the whole DC-ish "Let's bring characters from other timelines into the main one" crap that seems to be apparent in this book.

I have really fanboyishly nitpicky reasons why I don't like Justice that would probably sound retarded to most people. Kingdom Come was VERY good though.
Justice was nice because it was just a bunch of pretty pictures of heroes smashing villains. And the premise was at least pretty intriguing. Why didn't you like it?

Don't say I didn't warn you because I've been called pretty stupid over this twice already. I HATE the way Alex Ross draws Batman. I hate the lack of eyelets/lenses in his mask, I hate the lack of body armor, I hate seeing his 'furrowed brow' through his cowl. I REALLY hate Batman wearing a winter coat at the Fortress considering the number of times Bat characters have said their suits/capes are insulated against the cold. Then add in the weird armor that everybody wore to protect themselves from the mind-control worms. I just really can't get over the fact that Alex Ross can't think outside the silver age and cannot accept Dick Grayson being Nightwing or anyone other than Barbara Gordon being Batgirl. Etc. Etc. Plus even early twenties and teen heroes he draws look old. Okay, mini-rant over.

I think I might actually like Justice more than Kingdom Come. Haven't read Marvels.
"And then Batman gets his super Bat-Armor and punches Lex Luthor and Superman is wearing Lead and he fights Metallo and weeee pixie sticks!"

Covered in text.
That's what all of Alex Ross's writing reads like. It all reads like fanfiction (at least what I've read).

I thought Paul Dini wrote those.
