The crickets outside are chirping at different time intervals and the phases shift in and out. It’s a cool effect.

It's the Matrix. I hear that happens when they change something.

Right, I've decided on cheap beer and food, but from Safeway and not Trader... Nah. I'll get healthier junk from Joe's. Those salt and pepper chips are tasty.

Edit: I can't think of anything to get besides chips and beer.

I’m eleven hours away. In discovering this fact, I also learned that Google Maps has been redesigned.

I wasn’t very impressed by the salt and pepper chips I ate. Dunno the brand, but it was basically the chip version of a baked potato.

I got accustomed to them and enjoy them quite a bit now. Like root beer. Except I no longer drink root beer and find it meh again.

Root beer is very dependent on who makes it. I’m tired of Mug, but A&W is okay.

    Edit: Also this.

Root beer is highly contextual in general.

I bet Mug is pretty great in a float, but for straight drinking I prefer Barqs.

My complaint with Mug is that it basically numbs my tongue after the first mouthful.

There's some independent producer around here. I'm all for supporting local merchants but that shit tasted like pepto bismol.

I'm not familiar with that effect. But maybe it is helped with ice cream.

Or just go eat some ice cream.

I'm also technically a Canadian citizen as a default, through my mother, but I want to get it on paper.

It might be easy to get in NOW, but I want to make sure it's easy to get in ALWAYS.

Also if the coming elections go horribly wrong I'll be looking for a job there soon anyways.

Also my girlfriend has been considering moving to Vancouver for an MA, and it's a pretty rad city on its own, but with an awesome girl there it's extra rad.

I did not buy healthier junk. I caved and went to Safeway and will spend the night drowning in Lays and five cents an ounce beer.

    I poked a bear today.

(Link to earlier in thread for context - the links in Engine's post are important. The thing that got me banned is on page 7.)

As much as the mods around here can irritate me at times, I wouldn't trade 'em for another set.

    Vancouver is awesome.

Democrats I can understand, but when rednecks say "If the Democrats win, I'm moving to Canada!" I really don't know what is going through their head. Even our Conservatives are liberal compared to some of the stuff that goes on in the south.

More accurately, he does really short samples and throws them on a hip-hop rhythm track for weird club music, but yeah.
