Here's a shot of the view from my computer, mostly done setting this area up, cant wait to get some furniture and posters up so things look less empty:
Shit that still needs a home found for it:
The cord mess is a little annoying, but I'm pretty happy that any time on that I'm on my comp I can just turn around and grab my bass and dick around:
Closeups of the stuff (and an old water pot I used to use for painting that needs a home) on my drawers so you can judge me. Some of it is old as hell and I should probably just throw away at this point because I'm never going to watch/read it again:
Yeah remember Janson's not going to be cleaning up until after the wedding! You can't control women to your bidding until the ring has been placed on the finger.

I'm posting from the living room sofa because I don't have a desk
a quote would be greatly appreciated, but I didn't edit down the photos from the native iphone resolution so use your own discretion.
this is the room I've been living in this summer. normally it's my brothers, but we swapped houses for a couple months. I make the enormous majority of my posts from that bed there.
my autistic brother has, uh, a lot of disney movies.
this is the living room, and in the distance the kitchen. tv area to the left, balcony off to the right, exit along the wall behind the table lamp.
this is the tv area and whatnot.
this is the deck/balcony thing, table in the foreground, chaise lounge off in the background.
my iphone camera doesn't really capture the view, and I didn't feel like cobbling together a panorama, but the balcony looks out over basically the entirety of santa fe except for what a mountain to the northeastish blocks. being as how we're on the west slope, the sunsets, with the mountains and the dust of the desert past the city, are usually incredible.
and this is the house from the outside. you can see the balcony, the office is down below that, the entrance to the main house is up the wooden stairs. the guest house where I used to live is off to the right.

my stepdad gave me a big tapestry with a mushroom on it that says HAVE A NICE TRIP to take to college so between that, the GOF poster and the rice boy poster I think I'll be set for wall decorations. don't know why I segwayed to that.

Alright, prepare to be underwhelmed! Spoilers for hugeness (though not as huge as the previous set of pictures).
The entrance to my small quarters. Note the grocery store smock hanging on the door; it desperately needs a priest, for all the things it's seen has driven it over the edge.
My bed, complete with used clothes.
Under the bed lies some random stuff I've accumulated over the years.
Directly across from the bed is a collection of all the Hess trucks from 1996 to the present, as well as m backpack for some reason. School doesn't start for another month, yet there it is, being a constant reminder.
Various stuff, such as my printer, Rock Band, my games, some school books, a spare chair that holds my comforter (it is the summer, after all), some tabletop RPG books, and an overflowing garbage can. Also, that little dragon is made entirely of a bike chain, wires, and some nails.
Some posters. That Tales of Symphonia lithograph was an awesome preorder bonus, and I managed to hang the Mario Galaxy coin + case up there. Also shows my 360, PS2, and SNES; the large jumble of wires on top of the 360 is the Play and Charge kit as well as the mic.
My precious 32' widescreen HD TV, in all it's sexy glory. Somehow, that little Fischer-Price thing can support not only its weight, but that of the black Sony colossus. The Wii, eh, not so heavy. My Macbook stays clos to the TV since it supplies my 360 with an internet connection; nestled underneath it, out of view, are my DS and PSP.
Books, DVDs, and some little miscellaneous things like the Happy Crab and three Tales of Symphonia collectable cards that I won through a Nintendo contest I didn't enter.
I've been lurking for a long time, and I figured now is as good of a time as ever to post before disappearing.
My bed:
My most exciting wall:
My desk (fuck yeah I love me some trucks)
Most of my games, some figures, my second laptop (I repainted my room a few months back and somehow failed to notice the gaping blue hole I left prior to putting everything away):
The closet that I shove all my shit into:
The crappy 17" screen that I put up with for 3+ years:
Sweet 36" HD bliss (in another room):

Excuse me, good sir, but is that a copy of Red Steel I see?
How the fuck could you even tell what games were up there?

Dude, it's Red Freakin' Steel. You can't get rid of it's image after you've played it; it's existence shall be etched into your consciousness forevermore.
My apartment is extremely boring. Imagine an apartment with off-white walls and beige carpet. Now imagine a spartan bedroom with a mattress and box-spring, a second-hand dresser, a bunch of shoes, and a small desk. That is my room.

So I figured I would make a post of my living space, but not my room because it is a bit too messy. I too am moving near the end of the month so I'm trying to keep things limited here.
First up is the futon space. There are plants and other assorted things as well.
Next up is the desk, where the magic happens! Behold my terrible old monitor, and also a lot of facial creams and stuff.
We also got the eating space, which has not been used for a while. There are some dirty dishes on the table but I'd rather talk about the super sweet Aussie flag I got up there. I don't remember where I got it but it's certainly a cool thing to have.
My horrible television, also some fishes.
Finally, my DVD and game spot. Basically the best thing up here is Wild Zero, which is definitely a quality film that everybody should see.
Seriously, man, who jerks off at their computer? It's not like there's an unspeakable amount of pornography available to watch from one's desk or anything.

I assure you I've never finished it.
I don't like the things on your walls.
Definitely taking pictures after the move.

You are rad Cloudman
it is cluttered because it is a 10x10 cubicle originally meant to be a small den or perhaps a storage room
air freshener and a lighter?
