An old screenshot of my Shaman. The background looks really pretty.
Here's another screenshot that I like. Too bad about the glow on the hands, they make it look a bit silly, but I like the whole "overlooking Alterac as a building burns" thing that's going on here. Sure, it's not terribly graphically impressive, but I like it anyway. It has a nice mood to it.
YOU Might not be impressed, but I sure as hell am. T4+(some badge loot, ZA, etc.) and I made a new personal Non-Curator best: 5256 damage.
And yes my Cooldown macro is called Burninate when I'm fire.
I almost didn't kill it, simply because of all the work it had to do to actually get up there. It had to spawn in Ashenvale/Stonetalon (I forget where I am, though I think it's Stonetalon peak) and...kinda make its' way up to the top without being killed.
In the end I killed it's ass, and it dropped an axe of Strength, so it was worth it.
No my video card didn't die on me. This is what happens when you end up questing at night and get multiple color-changing effects on you at the same time. Especially ones that darken you...
Last one. Can't figure out what's wrong?
Read the chat.
I was afraid to touch my move keys.

I don't get what's going on here. What didn't you almost kill? What had to a lot of work to get up there? I assume that you're talking about the fairie dragon, but that doesn't make any sense since there's quite a few of them in that tower.

Raynewood Retreat isn't the easiest place to get to the top of as a BE.

So... the Paladin dropped an axe of Strength when he killed it? What?
Alls I know is I've been through that damn tower (AND Stonetalon peak), and have never seen a Faerie Dragon in either place.
AROUND them, yeah. Plenty. (Well, not PLENTY...fucking quests...)
I just wish I could make a gif of all the times I see a wolf or panther fall from the sky.

That's weird because there's quite alot of them in Raynewood Retreat whenever I go there.
In fact, I happened to be in the area and decided to give the place a visit.

Nope, no fairie dragons there. None at all.
Alright we're talking two different places.
The one I saw had shitloads of Druids. Not Alliance-flagged either.

Nope, it's the same place. There are Druids there, they just wandered outside when I was taking this picture, and most of them were chillin' in the second floor. I can go back and take a screenshot of all the Druids if that makes you happy.
There's only one Raynewood Retreat in the game. It has faerie dragons in it, it has Druids in it (and they are Alliance friendly) and at the top, it has a few Keepers of the Grove. The screenshot you posted was taken in Raynewood Retreat. Maybe you're thinking of a different place, but the place in that screenshot of yours is Raynewood Retreat.
Well then the screenshot is funny because there's only ONE Blink Dragon in it.
Also I find it funny that in mine, I had lots of druids and Blink Dragons were rare and you had lots of dragons but no Druids.
Raynewood hates us, Reverse.
Also, a screenshot that WON'T bring up any discussion:
If you need a hint, look at the item I got.
Look at the mob I killed/have targeted.
I chuckled when I saw that.
Son of a bitch, I just realized I posted in the wrong screen thread.
Going to spoiler these in case some want to experience it for themselves in two weeks.
BEHOLD, THE INEVITABLE CITY:
This is where the Chaos leader hangs out. He is one baaaaad mother.
In the Inevitable City, people just use toilet paper for ads.
Chaos thinks with portals.
Horrible beams of energy are a standard in mo- oy! Down in front, ya git!
This thing has like...mouths for hands. It also was terrible at giving directions.
Here I am hitting on what looks to be Queen of the Dark Elves. I dunno if Tchar'zanek is giving me dirty looks because he's trying to hook up with her, or because my screenshot cut off his horns.
This is me chilling out somewhere that is not the 'evitable C.

If it makes you feel better, I don't understand any of his pics. Very odd.

What in the hell is wrong with the perspective in that pic?
If I didn't know it better, it looks like 2d sprites on a 3d background. Everything is way out of reasonable relative depth.
Moments like those make me miss being in a WoW raiding guild so much.
Similar thing happened in a guild I was in back in the MC days. The raid leader did the only sensible thing I could think of.
"Alright it's about 6pm pacific and I know a lot of you guys are on the west coast so we're gonna take a 30 minute dinner break. Everybody else get up and stretch or stuff, I don't give a shit."
Went into beta, looking around, and around this point in Borean Tundra, I'm reminded of all the underwater parts of Azeroth where the land just took a straight cliff dive down in a relatively boring fashion. This area's different. Much more complex.
I should point out that these are all taken at 1680x1050, using the (lower-resolution) beta textures, with 8x AA and 8x AF forced in hardware.
Unfortunately, the game captures in not-so-great-quality JPEG.
(Reposted from the last screenshot thread; thanks for getting the post for me, Accualt)
You know what? Those screenshots have impressed me more than anything else I've seen thus far from WAR. They do what they're supposed to do; make me want to play the game, something that Mythic has failed to do themselves.
Agreed here. I'm back to considering a pre-order now. Thanks, you dick.

Yeah, like Paul bouncing around on podcasts or the awesome RvR haven't been enough.
The screens they were putting out were pretty bad for awhile, and the videos were absolutely atrocious. s3rial one manages to capture the visual styles of WAR much better than Mythic's team was doing.
Also, Paul is a salesman. I love the guy, I wanna buy him a beer, but you have to take everything he says with a grain of salt because he is TOO good at selling things.

Keep the War ones coming. I'm glad War is out soon; it will be nice to see something besides Wow pics for a while

The only problem I have with War is it's going to be ran by EA who doesn't have the best rep when it comes to Online gaming
