Frankly, I think that the constant Buckley-ing in the comic threads over the past weeks finally took root and turned half the people here into slack-jawed morons.
This is probably the most nonsensical comic they've ever made. Also, sorry I didn't realize this thread was here and posted another one asking about the meaning of the comic. I was just unable to figure out where a discussion of the comic was even supposed to go. It seems like the work of Penny Arcade itself should have its own area. So I posted quickly in here without realizing there was a stickied thread.
I can't believe I'm explaining this, but I like TDOT, so everyone thank him.
Johnathan Coulton is a dreamboat musician. Tycho is asking him to come perform, but is hesitant due to the phrase "If this place is rockin', don't come knockin'."
You see, people like having sex with charming, handsome, and famous musicians. Johnathan Coulton could have a lot of potential groupie sex at a place like PAX.
Gabe is coming out of the trailer excited. Tycho cringes at his friend's post-gaysex thumbs up
1) Why is Coulton a robot?
2) Why does it look like Gabe has just appeared stage left rather than come out of the trailer.

I mean, for all the things that were supposed to be happening the comic is incredibly poor at conveying them. Hence why people thought the robot was coulton and why I brought it up as a reason of contension for the comic and why people didnt 'get it'.
maybe if you were looking for information you should have looked at the words near the very top of the forum that say NEW COMIC THREAD before you decided your bullshit deserved a thread

Also, you're suggesting that I search through every single forum before even daring to post something, and that's just something I don't care to do. If a discussion area for the comics was made plain from the outset, not just at the top of some sub-forum that you might see if you happen to click on it, this wouldn't happen.
