I thought the Battle Royale movie was fantastic.

If you didn't like Battle Royale, you are a bad racist Hitler communist scientologist person that should die.

I'm trying to think of one thing that movie did right.

Apart from starring Go Go Yubari that is.

It did everything right. That's like trying to figure out "one thing cool about Drez." Considering there is nothing not-cool about me, this is an absurd thing to suggest.

Oh god, my arms. Is this what a good workout feels like? I don't like it. I don't think... nope, can't lift my arms above my head.

Yes. If its your first time, expect that kind of feeling to be common for the next 2-3 weeks of decent workout. After that, you don't get a terrible feeling so much as an awesome feeling. I'm not joking. Once you get used to working out, the sore goes away and is replaced by a sort of proud fatigue. You ripple with strength and feel strangely satisfied. Soreness is much much worse in leg workouts, in my opinion.

See, that's the thing, this isn't my first time working out. I've been really working out now for about three months now, and it's never been rewarding. I've been running, but I never feel anything from that. I've been lifting, but I never feel anything from that. I do core stuff, but I never feel anything from that. It's all just fatigue and soreness all the time. I had this problem with it a few years ago, too. It's just never rewarding for me.

Do you eat before or after you work out? How long do your workouts last? How often do you workout? Ever been in the cockpit of a plane? Ever seen a grown man naked? Ever been in a turkish prison?

God, I was afraid of being thrown to the wolves for saying that. My friends are so into these shitty Japanese gore flicks and keep outvoting me on movie nights so I wind up having to watch these shitty fucking movies like Suicide Club (the least bad, though still pretty fucking terrible) and Battle Royale and Vs. One recent one they're trying to get me to watch is about a schoolgirl (go figure) who gets fucked up by the Yakuza or something and replaces her arm with weapons to get retaliation.

I don't care that they're trying to be cheesy, bad is still bad, and these are just unwatchable movies.

My only real meal of the day, breakfast, about an hour before I start. Carby.

They usually last about an hour, depending on what I'm working out. I alternate leg days and arm days. Though, that time is getting longer as my run is getting longer.

    I work out every day.

Yes, I've seen many, many men naked, and if being locked in the closet of one of the gay fellas in my dorm that happened to be Turkish or Persian or something like that counts, then yes.

I'd recommend working out less often, to be honest. 5 times a week tops, with a lot of variance in group focus. Though, I am not a trainer and what little I know of training and fitness I have learned from my own shallow experience and my friends who are in much better shape. Honestly, I don't know what else would be causing your fatigue, but 3-4 times a week is plenty. 5 is essentially 19 credit hours. Every day is downright brutal for the muscles, they need time. I'unno. See a doctor?

Alternatively, do what most intelligent people do and just don't listen to what I say. Either way, I like being an armchair specialist while I sit here at work.

WH, the most important part of any lifting regime is core workouts. If you're focusing on legs and arms, you're doing it wrong.

Take a look in the H/A fitness thread at Tube's Regime for Faggots. It's solid, and if you want to work out six days a week, you can (I would recommend at least one non-lifting day, though you can do cardio every day).

Maybe you're doing it too right. Maybe everybody else is wrong.

Shrug. Best of luck, either way. As for your closet adventures ... D:

EDIT: Beated with guide thread from H/A which I have only half-read. Oh well. Yeh, you can (and should) do some form of cardio every day. I try to walk/run every day just to make sure I don't become sedative and keel over from playing too much Spore/other games. 20/30 4 days, 30/20 3 days. Varies if you have to walk to class/if you don't get any exercise, etc. None of these numbers are very 'solid' - just the mediocre nonsense I go through.

Have you ever actually seen the show? It's so campy and contrived I can't take it seriously. It probably doesn't help that I tuned into it during an awful taser chase scene that culminated in a person being knocked unconscious from touching someone who was being shocked.
