No game card (episode 1)

So I have just opened by PA collector's edition game given to me by Robert Khoo and I have started it up and it is asking me for a license key. The disk holder says LICENSE KEY ON GAME CARD REQUIRED TO UNLOCK FULL GAME

There is nothing in this box that looks like a game card :(

what do I do

    It's a boxed copy, so I don't think greenhouse can help. I sent a message to hothead's tech support, maybe they can help me out.

    At the risk of being utterly fucking obvious, have you tried swapping the 0s for Os and so forth.

    There aren't any Os on the code. I tried it about ten times, I even swapped all the Ps for Fs because it isn't printed very well. I think some pirate must have gotten my key from a keygen.

    Maybe you only need to swap some of the Ps for Fs?

    You're thinking too hard, all that conditional swapping hullaballoo.

    The solution is simply to swap out the bad code with a good code.

    That's what you get when you try to make a boxed/retail version--shitloads of logistics! It WAS a game card when we ordered the boxes ;)

    Yes, it is on the keychain with like a stupid 6pt font--not exactly what was ordered. Some of them got screwed up when printing so email the code (as you think it reads) to support@hotheadgames.com and we will get you setup proper.

    By the way, download the latest version from GH as we just added the GH Nitrogen features (Triumphs and Standings) along with new features that we brought in from the work we did with EP2. There is now difficulty settings along with a game complete Insane mode.

    Thanks, I managed to get a code from Greenhouse in the end thanks to my awesome pull with Robert Khoo and my status as an enormously important and integral part of the Penny Arcade brand.

    That is not really our call. Title updates take time and money on part of the console guys. If they asked for it, we would do it and also throw in shit like our new renderer that is 3x faster.
