    I don't think it was shooting bullets.

    Those look like thrusters meant to keep it oriented, and allow it to maneuver.

    I don't think it's shooting anything in the video. I think it's just testing the whole maneuvering side of things.

    I think those were probably just thrusters, like CB said, and the kill vehicles are those smaller cylindrical objects you can see around the outside of it

    I haven't seen the video yet. I just assumed they were going to miniaturize the kill vehicle and have lots of them hurling themselves at missiles. Suicidal, hoverbots. That's what they are in my dreams anyway.

    Presumably the small kill vehicles are weapons themselves? They're explosive or will impact the warheads directly and trigger an explosion?

    I'm missing sound so I don't know what that second video has for an audio explanation, but I assume the first video was one vehicle, and an intercepting missile would launch several of those which would then maneuver in space to either shoot down several incoming warheads, or the vehicles just ram the warheads?
