ML Carr belongs in the towel-waving hall of fame, and thats it. Don't mention him in the same sentence as Bird, McHale and Parish.
Hey now, it's not every NBA coach that can lose 67 games leading the most prestigious franchise in the history of professional basketball. Let's give him a little credit here.
Zimmydoom, Zimmydoom
Flew away in a balloon
Had sex with polar bears
While sitting in a reclining chair
Now there are Zim-Bear hybrids
Running around and clawing eyelids
Watch out, a Zim-Bear is about to have sex with yooooooou!

I actually don't hold it against him for that. No one could have coached that team to any more victories.
I've always wondered why Belinelli doesn't play as well. When they drafted him I knew he was a good shooter and was excited to see him play, and he was never put in.
Well, the Ellis they have right now is a no-good Monta Ellis.
Still, Nelson gives time to guys like Anthony Morrow and CJ Watson over Belinelli. It's like Nellie's so proud of finding these nobodies that Belinelli being a 1st round pick actually works against him.

Millsapp and Boozer basically play the same position, it doesn't make sense to play them together too much. It probably makes more sense for Utah to trade Boozer, possibly for an elite wing.
Millsapp is younger, more durable, more athletic, and a better defender in both man and help situations.
Celtics are in Portland tonight, where Portland had 6 guys on the court and scored on that possession. The basket was not taken away. What the fuck.
Meh, Celtics got more than their share of calls in the 4th quarter to more than make up for that one play.
Although the logic that "once a play happens the refs can't go back and change it" makes no sense to me. They go back and take away buzzer-beaters and 3 pointers after watching replays and determining the guy was standing on the line all the time.
A bit of breaking news: Brandon Roy is freaking sick!
christ dude that train left the station ages ago
where were you
Roy to the world!
It wasn't really breaking news. Not since his senior year at Washington, anyways.
The absolute best part about Roy's senior year was the whole "he has no upside because he was in college for 4 years" logic that was being spouted by NBA scouts.
As if most every rookie in the history of the NBA up to ~1984 hadn't been a college senior. Don't draft Larry Bird, he's got no upside!
That possession was the difference maker last night tonight. Instead of trying to catch up down 4, they would have been down 2 and it would have been a much different ending to the game.

You can say that about any bad call in a close game.

True, but the rule is crap and the refs should be able to take the the points off the board.
That being said, it wasn't a difference maker - the refs MORE than made up for it down the stretch. Boston was getting some ridiculous calls and no-calls. Pierce's innovative five-step move in the paint comes to mind.

Really? I can't remmeber the last time I saw 6 guys on the court.
The reason I think it's stupid is because they can reverse 3 point field goals and buzzer beaters, but they can't do anything about 6 men on the court? Even when KG was screaming in the official's face that there was 6 guys as the play was developing?

6 guys on the court is more than a bad call, it's incompetence along the lines of missing (or adding? I can't remember) a sixth foul in the Miami-Atlanta game last season.

Not only that, the '81 team had Bird, McHale, Parrish, Maxwell, Archibald and ML Carr.

As a player though, my statement stands.
I'm happy Elton Brand is failing, though. Won't be long before the Philly fanbase and media start turning on him, if they haven't already.
Just throwing that out there for no reason
Especially after this:

Don't tell me it's because he doesn't play D. No one in GS plays D.
but you know how that goes

He's average for a 6-6 Euro. I wouldn't put him on Chris Paul or Tony Parker or anything, but he's no Kapono either. He's quicker than Morrow.
!
What happened?
Went down hard clutching his knee, carried/limped off in the last few minutes. Hopefully it's not serious.
And Rajon Rondo is a sexy chocolate elf.
can't wait to see both him and boozer back on the court
makes me tingly

i can see them trying to find a way to get boozer and millsap their minutes
i mean you don't have a choice with boozer since he is an all-star and an olympian
i figure there is enough of a buzz about him leaving after the season that this will just sort of seal the deal
No turnovers either!

Please. The Celtics got robbed.
it was a bad call, yep
did it cost you the game? nope
