Burger King; not as popular but better when it tries to be, just occasionally forgets to try.
Both Marvel and DC make turd-sandwiches, by any metric (other than profit) when compared to real movies, the Marvel Vs DC thing in cinema is ridiculous, both suck and cater to the lowest denominator. Having said that, I watch all of them, multiple times, as soon as they are released and I enjoy them.
lol
"Real movies"
We are putting Daredevil (the movie) next to Platoon, or One flew over the cuckoo`s nest, 2001: A space Odyssey, etc. ? Maybe turd-sandwiches are a delicacy in some places of the world.
What? Nobody is saying that?
People are laughing at how you've called some movies fake, which just makes you come across as a pretentious goose.
How the fuck do you even quantify how "real" a movie is? WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?
PM me so I can explain you how I quantify realness in a movie, and advice on movies in general. But without all the insults, thats uncalled for.
Yes, with a quick verbal "boom." You take a man's peko, you deny him his dab, all that is left is to rise up and tear down the walls of Jericho with a ".....not!" -TexiKen

You're some guy on the internet. No one gives a shit about your definition of 'realness'.

Um you insulted a bunch of frankly well made films that most people love then called them the lowest common denominator. I'm not sure what kind of response you'd expect other than mockery
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.
Marty: The future, it's where you're going? Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.

here's the first GIS result for "argument webcomics"
Did a quick editing job so the thread could have today's Ma3 without the Kickstarter ads attached. Of course, you can hit the site if you're the sort that wants to see a topless Veronica Lodge or Betty Cooper dressed as the White Queen.

you might get to write our new TOSTINO’S slogan! how would YOU distribute TOSTINO’S tortilla chips to grocery stores? what areas of the country would YOU advertise hardest in? urban areas? rural? YOUR market analysis could help US determine the best avenue of vertical integration for
the last marvel movie i saw was spider-man. it was okay
There seems to be some confusion here. The movies being described as "marvel Movies" are ones made by marvel studios. No Spider-man movie is a Marvel movie. Neither is Daredevil so I'm pretty confused why Fant used that as his example of how bad Marvel movies can be. Especially since the movie is pretty much reviled. Marvel movies are
Ironman
Captain America
Thor
Avengers
Guardians of the Galaxy
Antman

Well, the Daredevil TV mini-series is part of the 'Marvel Universe', right?
Tried explaining why some Marvel movies aren't considered part of the franchise to my dad. It's very confusing to an outsider.
Anything made by Marvel Studios is considered part of their connected universe. Stuff like Daredevil, the X-Men Films, The Fantastic Four films, Spider-Man aren't because they were made by other studios. Except Sony and Marvel made a deal to share Spider-Man going forward from here on out, so it gets murky.
Long ago, comic book movies were thought to be lame and a waste of money outside Batman and Superman.
So marvel sold their movie rights because people didn't believe it could make a profit. (FF4, X-MEN, Spiderman)
Then someone realized it could make a profit after Marvel was merged with Disney, so they started making great movies with the properties whose right's they had not sold off. (Hulk, Ironman,Thor, Antman, Avengers)
Marvel also realised that everyone liked their stories mixing together, so they created a multi phase plan to have individual movies be made and sold, but also teamwork movies come together.

Disney didn't start the marvel ciniematic universe. Like at all.
Marvel made their own production studio specifically because they felt their properties were being treated incorrectly. Disney bought them because their solo efforts were impressive and lucrative but that was years after the fact .

If we get Archime Lousie Armstrong and Genderswap Mustang then I grudgingly accept.
(For the record you can't genderswap Armstrong you'd get his Sister. No not that Sister the other one from Brotherhood)

Monster Soup seems pretty cool. It's a comic about a group of monsters sentenced to jail/rehab/detention "until they can control their monster powers". But there's really a conspiracy going on.

The easiest way to explain it is if there isn't a Cameo by an Avenger it's not part of the Marvel movies

the Daredevil mentioned previously was referring to the Daredevil movie with Ben Affleck that came out in like...2004?
Dollhouse is maybe NSFW?
