if things get much more tense than this in later books it's going to be crazy
so far you have the lannisters plot to take the throne, but then you have the other plot manipulating the lannisters and starks against one another so it'll be easier for the targaryen kid to come back and wreck shit with the khal. but the targaryen boy seems like too much of a little shit for people to want to back him, so maybe there's a plot within a plot there. then there's the eunich spymaster who said he was working with eddard, but i think he was the 'wizard' with the guy from the free cities that arya saw, which means he just told stark about the (supposed? probably real) lannister plot to kill the king to encourage eddard to move against the lannisters. oh then there's the king's brother and the knight of flowers trying to get the king to marry the knight's sister, according to whoever arya saw. so many people plotting all up ins
and where's benjen stark?! probably going end up as a zombie for the Others. fuck, so much going onnn
right now i'm stuck in a catelyn chapter, she's in the vale riding with her uncle to visit her sister

Ok, Lisa Arryn was completely off her fucking rocker by the time Littlefinger killed her - and speaking of Littlefinger, the man is creepy as fuck but I gotta say he was pretty awesome right at the end there
but zombie Catelyn? of all the dead characters we could have resurrected, we get her?
well maybe now that she can't talk, she'll be much more bearable
plus she's undead, which is pretty fucking metal
also, Jon Snow becoming Lord Commander seemed awfully, uh, unlikely, but I really like the character so, good on him
