I only have a passing knowledge of who Felicia Day is (directed mostly by Tycho's newsposts and that one comic), and I've only seen a few episodes of The Guild, but I thought that video was great.
She's equal measures of cute and pretty, I've no doubt she also has a good helping of clever in there, and she's dressed up in cosplay, singing and making inside jokes about MMORPGs.

A useful heuristic that's nevertheless failed you in this case. It's a 45-minute musical about superheroes and villains, and manages to not be incredibly wanky but in fact pretty excellent. Directed/written by Joss Whedon and his clan, stars Neil Patrick Harris, Mal out of Firefly and the aforementioned Felicia day, and has some truly wonderful and memorable songs in it. Above many things, I'd recommend you give it a go.
I find her to be super cute and I'd love to take her home and sing her songs of heroism and sadness, but really.... she's going down the same path as J. Hodgman - WAY overexposed, shelf life rapidly nearing expiration.

I loved the video, it's hilarious. And it's worth mentioning that the entire cast is funny here, not just Felicia Day. It's obviously an ensemble effort, as always. The song gets stuck in your head like crazy glue, too.
