Is anyone else bothered by the huge number of references in Pani Poni Dash? And the way text flits pass the screen every 2 minutes? It's worse than Zetsubou Sensei in season 1. It was fun while it lasted, but I was happy when they abandoned it in later seasons.
What the subbers do is, they explain the references with huge walls of text every time they occur, which is often. They do the same with the many language-based jokes, which make no sense to the non-Japanese. While they are to be commended for their diligence, it's really distracting. GG went another route. They released PFD files that basically dissect the show for all its content. They have pictures and everything.
Cultural barrier, I guess.
I got a fair amount of them myself and for the ones I didn't it was nice to have a explanation of it. It does take some tolerance to go through them though.

Letter Bee could be the best thing from that preview. Trapeze sounds interesting.
DtB and Railgun are certain watches. Nogizaka Haruka should be fun again. White Album 2 is..... fair game.
Yoko Kanno doing the music has always tempted me but I never really hear anyone talk about it
Yes it was good. Based on what you've seen you would probably like it, the concept is fairly original.
Darker than Black I will be watching for sure, but nothing else strikes me as especially must watch.
Kimi no Todoke, Sasameki Koto and Winter Sonata I might watch, but with the proviso that the second the characters become indecisive or irritating I'll drop them.
Natsu no Arashi 2? The concept sounds interesting but I don't remember a first season.
This current season and next have been a good time to be a fan of slice of life.
Haha, Ko finally has fangirls. Too bad Akaishi spread that dirty lie. Aoba's reaction was great though.
We also finally get to know Azuma's motivation of reaching Koshien and I respect that. He apparently sees great potential in Ko, since he's the only one who decided to stay in Seishu. It probably came to a suprise to Azuma that Kou experienced hardships of his own. That delayed 'yes' after Azuma's question was both sad and sweet.
Next episode seems to be filler. Will someone get into Ko's pants already jeez.
Yeah I think I'll only update when I finish a show, or maybe if something is really great or really sucks and I want the world (world = about 4 people in this case) to know it.
Not much there that interests me really, I think I'll just stick it out with my awesome Shin Mazinger and Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei then watch old stuff (like my Devilman VHS tapes, again).
Fairy Tail is getting a show? Ehhh, has a small chance of being interesting.
Edit- What I mean is if it actually gets shit done in an episode and doesn't fall prey to the pitfalls of people standing around doing nothing. However, this is Shonen, so I'm not holding my breath.
This current season and next have been a good time to be a fan of slice of life.
What is it with slice of life and lesbians these last few seasons?
I'm pretty much waiting for Nodame Cantabile S3 to arrive. Damn you childbirth/appendicitis for causing the delay!
I have no idea what is up with that, but at least they're not as indecisive as most of the male leads in these shows usally are.
And I would like to have Nodame season three hit. I think the second one stopped just short of where I stopped reading the comic.
I've been hanging for a ANBU release of Cross Game but it seems to have fallen to the wayside now they're doing Tokyo 8.0 so I might need to find another. Curse you for your Cross Game spoilers! I want to read them but must wait.

Oh man, please don't let the Fairy Tail anime suck.
Also railgun totally has a chick nicknamed railgun.
She can
use electromagnetic energy to accelerate a coin to over 1000m/s
and
make a chainsaw-whip out of magnetic sand.
I am now interested in this Railgun show
If those things mentioned actually happen, that is
They should, the first happens in the very first chapter of the manga, even. It's basically Index without the exposition and the protagonist doesn't take time out to preach at his opponents.
Sasameki Koto should be much more palatable and is a more traditional romantic comedy than Aoi Hana's pure slice of life. It's still quite good, I very much appreciate how normal and typical it is.
Oh nice! Tegami Bachi is finally get an anime. And Fairy Tale, I've always been interested in that because the art style is so similar to One Piece, I may check that out.
A Certain Scientific Railgun will definitely be watched, based on the name alone
I find myself morbidly curious about Heaven's Lost Property, but I don't have high hopes
Jungle Emperor Leo sounds interesting, I love Tezuka and the plot sounds nothing like Hamlet Lion King.
EDIT: Oh man, and I'll definitely watch Trapeze. Mononoke was crazy in the best way.
At first, I was wondering, "Why would they be doing Ghost in the Shell? That was dubbed, like, fifteen years ago nearly." And then I realized that, while the film is my least favorite GitS-related...thing...including both video games....this is awesome.

I know, I know, it's terrible. I just laughed at the time.
Only Darker than Black really stands out as a must-watch.
Another Library war show?

DON'T JUDGE ME.
Anyway, new season wise...
I'll give a shot to:
Armed Librarians
Letter Bee
Sacred Blacksmith
Sasameki
11eyes
Kampfer
Seitokai (...maybe)
I know I'll be watching:
Darker than Black
Railgun
Fairy Tail
Shin Koihime Musou
...but that's all after I actually start (and finish?) watching the shows from this season. >.>
EDIT: Get out. Turn your badge in at the door.

This is gonna be Urasawa's best mystery yet!
Well I have neither watched nor heard of that show so I am interested in this one!

Conan and Andy go to a dubbing studio in LA. And totally loose their shit. You will too.
