    I'm enjoying the look of both factions. I think it is neat how each weapon looks and sounds different for each faction. The guns sound different if you aim down the sights too, which is really neat. I hope the sound lives up to SD's goals. They tired to make it sound good, and have the weapons harmonize and stuff.

    I don't hate shooters but they're definitely something I'm kinda ambivalent about

    also I'm pure horseshit at them

    but I like playing games with people and sometimes that means looking into a game that I'm not wild about if it's what everyone else is doing

    look at all of this customization:

    Archetype - Race, as well as the look and shape of your face.

    Voice - Which voice actor you will use when communicating with others.



    Facial Tattoos & Scars - Tattoos, scars and stitches for your character's face.

    Facial Hair - Beards, moustaches and sideburns for your jaw.

    Face Paint - Camouflage, bandages and dirt to paint your face.

    Hair & Head Gear - Hats and hair styles for your head.

    Face Gear - Masks, glasses and balaclavas for your face.



    Body Tattoo - Mostly tattoos for your chest and arms.

    Shirt - Under shirts and tank tops which are worn under your Jacket.

    Jacket - Armour, coats and long-sleeve shirts which are worn over your Shirt.



    Pants - Cargo pants, shorts and other articles for your lower body.

    Somebody mentioned earlier that it reminds them of Timesplitters, and it was an excellent call! It really does have a similar look. Very niiiiiice.

    Yeah, Brink's visual style is influenced by hyper-realism. It looks awesome, and it also reminds me of Timesplitters 2 too. :)

    You can change the color on all of those pieces!

    Yes! At any point, you can sell all of your purchased abilities and completely re-spec your character. This comes at a cost, however, as your character will lose one level (and with that, one ability credit). For example, if you’re level 11 and decide to sell everything, you will be dropped back to level 10 and are then left with 10 credits to buy abilities.

    That's a nice feature. It encourages you to think about your choices.
