There was a post yesterday on their forums indicating that no beta information was yet released, and that they'd announce in on the forums first. Nothing else. Strange.
Oh well, though. I threw my hat in the ring, but didn't get a link or anything to download the beta. Just a link to recruit other people. (All referrals taken. Thanks folks!)
And more importantly... are there going to be any Assault 'Mechs? Those are the kings of the battlefield. So fearsome are these behemoths in battle that one assault 'Mech is often equal to an entire lance of lighter 'Mechs. A well-designed assault 'Mech fears no opponent in the field, and its physical attacks can cripple just about any target.
Assaults are so boring and slow to pilot though. Give me a bushy or owens any day.

Actually it's not clear to me whether we have unlimited invites or 3. If you invite 3 people you get to reserve your pilot name, but I dunno if it cuts you off after that.

Just got all three. Afterward I was able to reserve my Callsign, and after reserving it the page encouraged me to keep referring people to the same URL. I think it said something like "You never know what rewards await our best referrers!" or something to that effect. I think it's more important that new folks get to reserve their callsigns, though, so I edited out my referral link.

How did I completely miss this? Well, totally signing up for the beta. World needs more giant robots.
Seen someone mention that it is actually live but haven't found concrete confirmation of that.
