Hey, is anyone else getting major Chrono Trigger vibes from the boss battle music?

I haven't really listened to it, but it would kinda fit since, you know, Chrono Trigger has a connection to DBZ.

PRINCE VEGETA GET
It only took 7 dragon stones to get, too.

I would just start and reset the level until I got Vegeta to show up. Oh, and you have to beat it. It is VERY hard. It took 5-6 continues to beat, a lot of luck, and some high power support cards.
So be prepared for pain. But yeah, if he pops up, you will see him. He's on the path only accessable via the Z-Hard mode, and he is a miniboss so you can't accidentally skip him if you are on that path.

Jesus Christ that was an endeavor. So I woke up like hour or two ago and instead of going back to sleep decided to continue grinding for Kid Vegeta. I've been running prelude to doom on z-hard with a half phy/half str team God knows how many times since it is super fast and Dodoria doesn't attack a lot. I start my latest run up and on the path? Kid Vegeta AND King Vegeta! I knew that to get Kid Vegeta either or would show up for the fight but I had no idea you could get both. So I start the Kid Vegeta fight and get my ass kicked and blow through almost all my items but I manage it. Then I step up to his dad and at this point it's just grinding my face against a millstone powered by dragon stones. I win but like with 3k health. I step on one of those ? spaces figuring I may as well test my luck and it proceeds to do the enemy attack and put me at exactly ONE health going into Dodoria, thankfully that fight was a cakewalk by now but the whole thing cost me five dragon stones.
So long story short I now have TWO Kid Vegetas.
Also some tips I figured might come in handy, the first of which might break your enjoyment of the game? I dunno, it just makes it way easier to cheese. So there are items like Baba that turn an enemy's super attack into a normal attack or King Yemma that reduce damage by half but how did you know when to use these? As far as I can tell you don't, but what you can do is take your turn like normal and if they do a super while the animation is still playing immediately close the app and reopen it. The game will ask if you want to resume a suspended game, hit yes and you will be back to the start of that turn and now you can use an item to mitigate the super. From where I read this from they said if you wait until you see the KO on your screen it's too late, personally I don't even wait to see the damage. It's helped immensely with z-hard.
Speaking of mitigating supers I've found that if you block with a type that is resistant to the attack and use Ranfan and Ox King together you can turn a super that would do like 20k damage into like 2k. I don't remember if my blockers were super or extreme types so it may vary.

After the work it took me to get those two i'm kinda loathe to just feed one to the other but at the same time there is no practical use for keeping them both. I wonder if anyone has done the math on how much extra damage you get per super attack level?

No clue! But it is literally impossible to use both of them, sooooo the best thing you can do is cannibalize them.
But don't worry, it's only Vegeta. He had it coming.

I'm very glad that the extent of my getting cards is opening boosters because man if I let this game convince me to grind my life would be over since it's mobile.

You don't have to grind to get Prince Vegeta. You know whether he will appear the moment you start the stage, so you can just abandon and restart the stage until you see him. You still use stamina, but you don't waste time.
The real issue is beating the shit out of two ridiculously hard bosses that can do 25k-35k damage a shot.

Also, I managed to clear the Bardock event on all difficulties and kill Chilled on z-hard without using a stone so now I never have to do it again, hooray!
Z-hard is super challenging and tense and changed this from a game I idly tap at while doing other things to something I have to focus on.
Also, yeah you can just quit and restart the level to find Kid Vegeta but if you can actually complete the stage you'll get so much xp and money and rank up so you can keep going more often. Granted I can do this cause I have out way too much time into this game and had a stockpile of support items. Having as many Z-Awakened dudes as you can certainly helps as there is a considerable difference between them and the damage your regular dudes do.
Also the saiyan summon event ends soon so burn your stones now I'd you want bardock or w/e
I was hoping for a fasha, multi summon gave me two in a row.
I'm okay with this.

Fasha is amazing. Everyone love on Fasha.
I don't really care about Bardock or Goku though (was happy to get SSR SSJ2 Goku, though).
I really want an SSJ2 Gohan or a 100% Frieza.

So I figure this is the thread for this, I was looking for the Mega Man Legacy Collection on the 3DS eshop(spoilers it doesnt come out on 3DS until next year) and was scrolling around and found out about this game:
It's a Dragonball Z fighting game only for 3DS made by the Guilty Gear guys, there's a demo on the eshop and it seems to be Arc system Works going, what would it be like if we made Marvel vs. Capcom 3? You get a team of three dudes plus assist characters and all the attacks are combo strings like Y,Y,Y,Y,X,A. It's interesting.
Edit: Well you can do straight 3v3 or like 2 characters and 2 assists or I assume a team of 1 character and 4 assists. Also it's out in October.
I got three good Ginyu guys, so I just need to hope for Recoome and Burter. Ever since I got Ginyu as my starter I wanted to collect em all, so this event is a dream come true.
I'm probably going to give up on farming the UUR Medals, because I managed to get 20 King Kai with no drops. I should be getting one as part of the 6 Million Downloads event anyways. I think I'm up to date.
Tien has great linkage with both Z and Crane. I'd love to have a good Tien, Chiaotzu and Roshi and fill in with two other Z guys.
Edit - I already have a good Shen.
Edit 2 - I would also love an SR Zarbon because his link with Frieza has saved my ass a few times, but the R version isn't cutting it.
A duck! on

I'm so close to z-awakening my SR tien, I just need about 10 gregories.
Of the common medals, he seems to be the rarest, trickling in one or two at a time when I'm pulling in ten bubbles and gero's at once.

I hate you so much for getting the SSR frieza.

The 2 ginyus have different leader abilities, and since neither will be leaders they're basically the same. Except no super level for feeding to each other

Also I found this guide on stacking character order and even just the knowledge that whoever goes last takes an extra turn to come back again has changed the way I play.
