Sometimes I stand up suddenly and feel really dizzy like I'm about to fall down. Sometimes I have to hold onto the table. Sometimes I just fall to my knees for a few seconds.
It doesn't happen very often.
That low blood pressure or am I just sitting in one position too long?
Just sitting in one position too long. I have high bood pressure, and I get that.

It is actually one of the (many) neurological symptoms related to chronic Lyme.
I had it all the fucking time before I got treated, but now not so much.
My mother still insists she's psychic, but I just think it's the bacteria eating her brain.
I thought the deja vu feeling was because you weren't creating solid memories or connecting to the memories you had so you'd remember something you just saw and think you had previously seen it?
Preacher on
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
There is a lot of contention in the medical community over whether chronic lyme disease even exists. I don't have enough knowledge of the pathogenesis to even make an educated decision. The hope is that diagnostics will get good enough to detect the long-term disease and eventually develop a vaccine.
The one infectious disease guy I saw who swore up and down that Lyme (not just chronic Lyme) was largely a myth insisted that my mother and I were just "disturbed."
This despite my Western Blot that was "equivocal but really fucking close" and my mother's that was "HOLY FUCKING SHIT HOW ARE YOU NOT DEAD YET?!?!?"
I've probable picked 30 or so ticks off of me during my lifetime, because I'm not an outside kid. My mother has probably had several hundred.

I thought this happened to everybody.
Me too. I'll stand up too quickly and I'll get very dizzy and my vision will become completely obscured by a wave of dense static.
both my low blood pressure and my arrhythmia are remnants from dramatic dosages of antidepressants (above the manufacturer's indication even, prompting all of my prescription pick-ups to be accompanied by an additional call to the prescribing doctor before they would dispense it)

It’s basically the brain taking vague input and pulling up the wrong memories.

Yes, but Lyme can cause this. Along with lots of other fucked up shit.

Yeah, sounds like they did a PCR or PAGE antigen test and transferred it t a Western Blot for more testing. :P I was afraid some quack just looked at you and guessed. :P

I don’t get eye-screensavers very often (unless I press my eyes) but it’s always interesting. I like the shrinking white blocks one. Also the weird pixelated geometric things.

Similar though probably not as bad situation when I was on antidepressants (though luckily I have no long term side effects). The pharmacist being all "Woah, wait a second, is this dosage correct? Let me check up on this..."
Hey oboro? You ever look into fucking machines? It tends to just be people + large contraptions that fuck them in various exciting ways.
Yes, I have seen these. They often feature these machines at the Center for Sex-Positive Culture here in Seattle.
I don't see what my propensities and fetishes of non-human entities has to do with a discussion originally about my arguable asexuality, though. You're just trying to confirm what I'd rather not have confirmed. :P

Based on Oboro's link...
It's prolly related to dehydration since dexies and coffee do that and at the same time dexies suppress appetite/thirst.
I need to keep a bottle of water near me and like consciously think "I should drink water" or I don't.

No, we had pretty much every (meaningful) test from the best labs in the country.
The other clear-as-fuck sign that we had it were the horrible, violent reactions to the antibiotics we were put on that got better over time.
There is a small but growing faction in the medical community who believes the government and CDC have had a role in ignoring/actively impeding research into Lyme because they actually had their hand in developing it as a bioweapon a long time ago. Apparently there's a small island community near Long Island with like a 90%+ infection rate that used to be home to a government medical research lab. My mother was born/grew up on Long Island.

They don't prescribe me SSRIs anymore, it's all about the tetracyclics now
unfortunately these are fucking expensive, which contributes to why I was not able to continue taking them #><

Earlier in chat thread I was talking about all of the things that exist on the coasts that don't exist in the midwest.
I guess ticks are the opposite. Only ticks suck.
...dextroamphetamine?
If you're on any prescription medication (prescribed or otherwise) and are having those kind of symptoms, you want to run that by your doctor.
