I went to look at the thread they were talking about.
I didn't realize how many conservative Star Wars MMO fans there were. But I guess liberals can be homophobic too. Most straight men I guess are.

BRO LET ME GET REAL WITH YOU AND SAY THAT MY FINGERS ARE PREPPED AND HOT LIKE THE SURFACE OF THE SUN TO BRING RADICAL BEATS SO SMOOTH THE SHIT WILL BE MEDICINAL-GRADE TRIPNASTY MAKING ALL BRAINWAVES ROLL ON THE SURFACE OF A BALLS-FEISTY NEURAL RAINBOW CRACKA-LACKIN' YOUR PERCEPTION OF THE HERE-NOW SPACE-TIME SITUATION THAT ALL OF LIFE BE JAMMED UP IN THROUGH THE UNIVERSAL FLOW BEATS
This comic made me wonder - has there ever been any expanded universe story or something in the games that alludes to earth or humanity's genesis at all?
Or is it a completely fantastic setting with no connections to reality? I've never really known either way.

MY GOD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, MAN?!?
I had to say it so that it would exist somewhere. Now I can find it, and either show it to the world for it's brilliance, or openly condemn/mock it.

I give this comic a B/B-. Fairly funny, not amazing. PA always comes through with a new turn of phrase I find amusing, and they did not disappoint this time. (in this case, "krakthorian gay beast")

They did a bit on the Daily Show about people assigning arbitrary letter grades to Obama's first 100 days in office, and it suddenly makes even more sense.
why do people I've never fucking seen before think that grading a comic on the internet on some arbitrary bullshit scale will make anyone give two shits about their stupid opinions and/or faces

The closest thing SW has to talking about where humans came from is they think that they originated on Courascant, but are unsure.
Chewie didn't get crushed by a moon persay, but he did get incinerated when the moon ignited the atmosphere of the planet as it came down (something to do with friction I don't know)
There are gays in SW, in one of Karen Traviss's books two Mandos referred to each other as husband and wife. They were both duders.
And I knew all of this from the top of my head and I am so ashamed.
She does seem to try to subvert the general Star Wars status quo in her books.

While were talking about sexuality in Star Wars
I just want to reaffirm my solid belief that Luke and Leia wanting to have sex with each other is clearly an intentional part of the storyline and not hidden subtext at all
They both even say they "knew" they were siblings the whole time
And they still wanted to do it

I couldn't resist. I should have, but I couldn't.
must be because PA is dying

man i wonder if it will be fish out of water, with Luke finding earth as it is now, or with han and leia ending up being adam and eve
It is a long time ago.

some probability waveforms are best left uncollapsed

Went out like a badass too
Took a fucking moon to kill him
By a moon

Not looking both ways before crossing the street?
