yeah, I'm buying it on 360, pretty glad I have that option
wait is this the one that's a final fantasy or the mmo that somehow isn't good enough to have a separate square-enix franchise named after it

A magician gives you a ring that, when worn, will let you see the world as it truly is.
However, the ring will never leave your finger, and you will be unable to ever describe to another living person what you see.
I think Braid belongs somewhere on my honorable mentions of the decade. Not so much that it was a fun game but rather an incredibly atmosphere presentation which is what I go for in games.
I'm getting it for 360 because I don't care about disc swapping but I DO care about achievements. at least enough that any game that wants to throw me a few story-related bones is something I'd rather play on the x-bawks.

I really love Metroid-style games, and I've been waiting for someone to do one in 3D that wasn't first-person. Not that I didn't like Metroid Prime well enough, I just vastly prefer third-person.
Never thought it would be a Batman game

I don't know about best or whatever, but you know what game I suddenly started thinking about that I liked a lot? Dead Space!
Dead Space is such a weird game for me.
I play it and I have a good time, and technically it's an incredibly-made game.
But I've tried it twice now and it can't hold my interest enough for me to finish it.
You've got problems
I have the same problem.
I think mostly it's the save system. I don't have the patience to wait for a potentially long span of time before being able to save again, so I never feel like I have enough time to keep going.

So I need something to suck me in on mah pc
i just beat dragon age, mass effect, fallout 3, and all my other rpgs and I yearn for something else
FFXIII: I do like Achievements, more than Trophies actually, but all that means is that on any subsequent playthrough I might do a couple years down the road may be on 360 (if the port turns out just fine).

I only play it for hour-long spurts and I come across two or three saves then so it isn't too much of a problem
I am still early in the game though so that may change

Actually, to give a more current example of this, I went through Fallout 3 on PS3.
Then just this week I went ahead and got the Fallout 3 GOTY for 360 and am about to clean up the Achievements on that.

I forget youngins aren't from the days when ascii graphics aren't actually a step up from muds, since muds are graphical now.

I don't know how you guys finish so many damned games, I bought both Dragon Age and Fallout 3 and got barely anywhere in them before getting distracted
The only games I finish are action games where there's only 8-10 hours of actual gameplay, and while I'd love to grind for the achievements I just can't do it
I think Mass Effect is the only RPG I've finished, ever

You're gonna be disappointed.
Battle system is like a mix of FFX-2 and Chrono Cross, upon hearing which I went into a fit of five orgasms

FFFFFFFFFF
wait, i liked those games though. ah well. i was just in love with the gambit system
That game just happened at the perfect time for me. Just got my surround sound and my HD TV and I had some days off. Good times
Champions Online NOT coming to the 360, as was promised
Man I need a better pc
Uh-oh I accidentally deleted my signature. Uh-oh!!
XIV is the MMO, right now it's only PS3 and PC, I believe, but it'll probably come to 360 (if it hasn't been announced already and I'm just slow).
I'd imagine XIII Versus will eventually make the jump to 360 as well.

I would never buy that bullshit mmo

I went from never hearing of it to clickclickclickclickclickclick pretty fast
It also runs on 2 day old toast

Best game of the year would be either Batman, Brutal Legend or Tales of Monkey Island
Best album of the year would have been the one my band has been working on if we'd actually finished the fucking thing
