Xmen 2 was my favourite, but Dark Knight just had that little bit extra, for all its flaws (and when you rewatch it over and over, they get worse), it was just so damn brilliant.
Edit: and I like the fact that the film ends without any real need for a sequel, its a complete story, and the arch of Harvey works perfectly, he is a self-destructive character, the last thing I want is for him to go into a sequel with henchmen and evil plans.
Also yes of course the boat scene should've been removed, or at least had no shots of the people in the boat yabbering on.
I keep wondering who the hell the villian in the next one will be that matches this psuedo-realistic style of the new Batman movies and I just can't. Like Catwoman MAYBE...I dunno what the hell they're going to do. Just get Johnny Depp to play the Joker maybe.
Riddler would be nice, and very possible
Die Hard with a Vengeance pretty much did it already
I think Spider-Man defined the decade. Iron Man/ The Dark Knight brought it to its logical conclusion
Actually, if you're going to give anything credit for that, you'd need to go back to the first X-Men.

Dark Knight was a pretty great flick, especially considering that it actually delivered what the hype promised
In fact more than the hype promised. I felt it was a bit too long as well (though I certainly didn't have that opinion in the theater when I first watched it)
Iron Man was just so refreshing and Nolan's Batman (which I am saying is not bad at all, I like it) but to be able to create a Nuanced adult superhero like that, while keeping the entire thing fun was just brilliant.
It was the most predictable part. You could almost hear the criminal with a heart of gold approaching.
To be fair, when he sits down and gives him the look of, "What the hell did you think I was going to do you idiot." was cool as, but it wasn't worth the ten minutes of build up.
The whole boat scene for me was made easier by the Joker's upside down speech and the Dent ending, I loved it, and the bike/speech gave me goosebumps I dont care who knows it.

Maybe set it up for a sequel?
Get rid of the boat scene?
Shorten the hong kong jacking?
Less cat and mouse with Gordon's fakeout.
The sons of Batman didn't really need to be there. (Though I loved Joker's handy-cam with them)

In videogames?
It's been used for a while.
Basically meaning part of a level, like one specific battle. And how the battle folds out is defined by it. Therefore you need good setpieces.

well what big blockbuster movie would be complete without glaringly bad CGI?
who is the guy

Bad? I thought that was great.
My favorite scene in the film has to be Joker's hospital detonator giving out on him.
wow, i said "heared" and i meant to say heard. i'm a stooge. but, um, i dunno i guess it's never come up around me before then.
still a pretty damn cool villain

i'm talking specifically about two face here.
well after the professor dude with an arm missing in spider-man 3, it does seem pretty likely

Me too. I thought it was good CG.
I actually expected him to press that button
DEEBOOOOOOOOOOOO
whelp, you are wrong.
I actually didn't see that bit coming
But then the only plot twists I ever really see coming are the ones in cop movies and police procedurals

That was improv'd. The bombs really didn't go off as planned.
I would hope so, since they actually totally blew up an old hospital for the hospital scene, which is awesome
I thought the Two-Face CG was fine.
And yeah, the boat scene is terrible.
I liked Two-Face's CGI too
It was really cool lookin'

at the very least he'd be in agonizing pain for quite some time.
