    I dunno, some of the shit in "Won't get Fooled Again" puts it slightly above.

    Thanks to the sale heads-up, Season 4 finally ordered! I had given up when they were like $100 a season, but now I've got them all.

    Such a great show. Always liked it because you could take away all the sci-fi/fantasy elements, and the main characters would still work - it was their relationships that made it. Like I loved TNG, I just can't see it holding up without an inverse tachyon stream.

    For some reason I have never seen this discussed. To me the Scarrans are one of the best villian Alien species created in television Sci Fi. For enemies they are extremely strong, resilient, , heat generating abilities, and with the Crystherium utilia can be incredibly intelligent/manipulative.

    Also unlike other cool alien species they just extrude power. Remember when War Minister Aknah backhanded John about 10 feet across a table?

    I just bought the entire series deal from amazon. I really got into Farscape in its last two seasons, unfortunately I had barely heard of it before then so I missed the majority of the series. Come teusday I will start making up for lost time.

    Just started watching from the beginning, it actually is as good as I remember. Only just watched the second episode but even it I enjoyed a lot. It is a bit cheap, you can tell for some things they had tiny production values, but then you have the amazing puppets, and little extra bits of set, and I just love it.
    I just have to go on about how much I love Pilot too. The design is just fantastic, this huge armoured alien with multiple limbs that interfaces symbiotically with a living ship? Yes, YES, please. Just his head and little arms, so cool. Really.

    Even the bad episodes of Farscape are pretty engrossing, I've realized. I just love the cast. It might be my favorite ensemble of any TV series.

    God dammit. My Season 1 Disc 5 is scratched. :( The rest of hte discs are fine, but Disc 5 get's stuck for a large chunk of "A Bug's Life"

    As the DVD set was a gift, I really hope it was purchased locally and where returns are possible.

    Boo! Stupid computer DVD drive doesn't like region codes.
    Wheee! Flashing DVD drive. In the process I discovered that my DVD drive can also burn DL discs, but it was just firmware locked away. Wtf?
    Wheee! Watching Farscapey goodness!

    So yeah, I still need to get Peacekeeper wars though.

    Over Christmas, I went to a store called Moviestop to get a dvd for my uncle and I found they had all the seasons of Farscape and The Peacekeeper Wars and no way could I resist that.
