That is the extent of what I can do to help

you can tell them exactly what time it happened, which direction they ran, how many shots, how the shots sounded etc. You might be able to really do some good even though you didn't see their faces.

This exactly. And the sooner the police have this the better. Smaller search radius. You sitting on any info helps no one.

I'm going to listen to this.

Although from the description they provided, I would hardly describe Hupp's involvement a "gun battle". Dude drove his truck through a Luby's and started shootin'. Now, if she had the gun that was in her vehicle at the time (per Texas law), it would've been a "gun battle."

Carrying a handgun for defense is not completely unreasonable, but you need to think of your own daily routine. Even if you apply for and receive a concealed carry permit you still have rules regarding where you can and cannot carry that firearm. Beyond the fact that you are armed in a world where most people still are not, and the sight of guns still alarms the majority.

It may give you peace of mind, but it may impact your life in more cases than it improves.

I heard three loud pops and saw the guy fall and three guys run and grabbed my little brother's arm and hauled ass and didn't stop till I hit my front door. I can hear the ambulance and cop cars from here.

Who the fuck does that in front of children.

Jesus, the first read through of this I thought you said the guy grabbed your little brother's arm.

Other people will have reported and they'll know the number of suspects and the'll know what they wearing. What more can he add?
