...I'm talking trash to him in IRC at the same time and I see him on another forum.
But, uh, thanks for playing.
Oh cool, because everybody reading this thread knows that!
I didn't need you to police me. :P
[07:56] <Delphinidaes> Spectrum. Stop being mean to Vagrant. You hurt his feelings.
[07:56] <AdventFalls> I am confused.
[07:57] <Spectrum> He doesn't have feelings to hurt
[07:57] <Spectrum> unless I started calling him vag winds like all the other jerks, but I'm not a dick
[07:57] <vwinds> ;______;
[07:57] <vwinds> baaaaaaaaaaw

[07:58] * vwinds sniffles
[07:58] <Delphinidaes> See he's crying that proves he has feelings.
[07:58] <vwinds> no one loves me!
This is getting silly, but for the record the "please stop trolling the thread" thing was a joke, which is why I phrased it the way I did and added the :P.
And your comment to vagrant_winds was mean for anyone that didn't know you were joking, because not everybody is in IRC and whatever else.
I wasn't policing you, I just thought that comment was serious and didn't want newer players to think this was how people were. Because out of context that would be a bit intimidating.

EDIT: Hey, you drive on the wrong side of the road, I don't need to take that from you.
Well, perhaps not all that final. I mean, as mankind increases propulsion technology, it's inevitable that the entirety of space will be explored eventually, and there will undoubtedly be more frontiers to explore. Like the depths of the human mind; just a few short years ago, no one would have imagined the power a man's mind could have on the world around him, and now the fucking moon was destroyed by thought alone. Definitely a frontier that we've only just begun to touch.
Or how about the depths of a man's hatred? No, not hatred, but loathing, a burning, white-hot fire of absolute repulsion?
The Arcadian Elder, Houn, suddenly realized he was thinking in italics again. Mental indulgences like these tend to crop up from time to time when you get punted into fucking space.
"Calm," he said to himself, supressing his rage, trying his best to ignore his surroundings, or rather, the lack thereof. He tried very hard not to think about his present, because for the present, he couldn't do anything about his present. Instead, he retreated once again back into the past, into his mind, summoning up through force of will a replaying of those events that led to this situation. This would be the 237,649th replay; he felt it was important to keep track of things like that, to keep his mind sharp. Since here in the cold, black bossom of the void, his mind was pretty much all he had.
It had begun so well; the people of Arcadia had been won over, and he'd managed to cure the New Renegade, Rainfall, of the worst of his mental afflictions, and in doing so had won a powerful ally for the planet. Yes, he had been a good leader, and had nearly secured Arcadia's security and independance for generations. But then, that fiend Gumpy, the one they called Quicken, caught him by surprise with a telekinetic attack of inconceivable power, booting entirely off the planet. The New Renegade was lost to him, along with Arcadia, and life as he once knew it.
But, he would not be defeated so easily. Oh no, not at all. He may not have been an aberation of psychic energy like the rest of these charletans, but years of discipline and study had left him with power nearly on par with theirs, and a simple thing like being knocked into orbit would not stop him.
He would find a way back to his beloved Arcadia. He would find his way back to the begining. And then, he would have is revenge on the one that started this all. On the one who's actions started the chain of dominoes that ended with Houn's cold and dark solitude.

Okay Edcrab, you are the boss, I will leave the thread that hasn't even started Day 0 yet.
Although your response to vagrant was a bit mean. We don't want to run off newer players by berating them when they don't get in-jokes.

Did I ever thank you for the fun time we had in the Unknown Armies Phalla?
I don't think I ever did personally thank you for that. How very rude of me. I must remedy this very, very soon.
