Look closer in panel 2 - a bit between his eyebrow and eyelid too (since there's color in place). But meh.
I really like the expressions in this comic. And check out Gabe's muscle in that first panel. Someone is working out.
The line above the eyebrow is often omitted in standard practice. I've noticed its absence occasionally because usually the eyebrow and hair meet with no gap.
Where it's actually inked in is a much rarer occurance.

It's been a year or two, you might need to refresh my memory. I remember some sort of path with lights, and then the boss standing at the top of a staircase which is in turn at the bottom of a tower, and the fight is at the top of the tower. That's about it.

Also, yeah, FF14 is basically the same on either system. It looks prettier on PS3 and doesn't have an install, but it's not gamebreaking like the Bayonetta cross platform issue.
