The line above the eyebrow is often omitted in standard practice. I've noticed its absence occasionally because usually the eyebrow and hair meet with no gap.

Where it's actually inked in is a much rarer occurance.

Good comic. Why not save some games for later dry spells?

Also, yeah, FF14 is basically the same on either system. It looks prettier on PS3 and doesn't have an install, but it's not gamebreaking like the Bayonetta cross platform issue.

    13, 14 is a MMO.

you kill a bunch of people and it has really good graphics for a handheld, but the last boss was pretty damn hard

    The part just before that?

I'll be damned if that wasn't the best fucking QTE I had ever seen.

It's been a year or two, you might need to refresh my memory. I remember some sort of path with lights, and then the boss standing at the top of a staircase which is in turn at the bottom of a tower, and the fight is at the top of the tower. That's about it.

Having read the new penny arcade book yesterday, in particular the "podcast" section where they discuss reviews I think this comic is a little backwards in that they've dealt with how things with no new content can still be spoiled by people rating them "good" or "suck" - hype and anti-hype are the biggest/worst type of spoiler to me too.

Hopefully this post itself isn't too much of a spoiler I tried to be as vague as possible.

    Tycho clearly does not understand.

Of course the story is that Kratos kills some stuff. That's a given.

But the spoilers are how Kratos kills things.

Is he going to rip out their eyes and pour molten sulfur down the sockets? Is he going to rip off the many appendages of the Echidna and beat her until she starts bleeding from every pore? Is he going to tear off Zeus' genitals and make him choke on his own scrotum?

These are things that can be spoiled.

Have you played that new Wolverine game? Wolverine Origins Uncaged Edition?

Apparently all the reviews called it a God of War clone but I haven't played any of the God of War games so all I know is that it running around as Wolverine slicing the shit out of thousands of enemies was a lot of fun. Also you can get it for like $20 now.

Seriously, it is so ridiculous. Wolverine finds a bridge out, but there is a helicopter that flies over and starts shooting at him. So you do a QTE where you leap onto the helicopter, break the windshield, pull out the pilot and DECAPITATE HIM WITH THE HELICOPTER BLADES and then jump over to the other side of the bridge, instead of, you know, flying the helicopter to where ever he needs to go.

That's just during the first level of the game, too. It gets so much more over-the-top.

For edit reference purposes, and to quickly find a proper expression without a bunch of network traffic, I've got about 5 years worth of PA archives saved to local disks. So it's one of those things noticed over time.
