We got our 3-day passes already last Saturday, and we reserved a room at the Sixth Avenue Inn. It's a tolerable long walk to the convention center, but it's cheap. They gave us the room for $101/day, around $112 with tax, and that's for 4 people in a room with with 2 queen size beds. So for those who are just looking for a decent place to stay for the con, it's no Hilton but it's good enough to sleep in. The room is relatively small, but clean, no doorman or bellhops to assist you, but it's cheap. Hotel parking is $15 a day.
This kind of post belongs in the Hotel Discussion thread. This thread is for people who are looking for other people to share hotel rooms with in order to defray costs.

Additional Notes/Requests: I will be booking this room at the end of the month, and if no one contacts me, I will be keeping the room to myself, however, if I get a few requests I may upgrade at a later point. Overall price for each person will only be about $70, or if you want the other bed, $100 for the weekend. VERY reasonable pricing IMO. This room is for sleeping...no partying. If you want to bring a game console, that's fine with me

i might have 6 people in a quad occupancy, 2 bed, room this year at the Roosevelt. has anyone had issues having more people in a room than booked for? at the Roosevelt that is?
