Kind of a sob story here. I was planning on going to PAX on my own, when my mom had a massive heart attack, she needed triple-bypass surgery and three stents put in. This will be my first PAX. My friend who encouraged me to come this year isn't going to make it after all, and it was her friend's floor that I was going to be crashing on. Not sure what I'm getting into, but I'm excited. I'm a social drinker, non smoker, laid back, and very conscientious and polite, especially to strangers nice enough to help me with a room.

That was a lot more painless than I expected!
I'm a friendly and laid-back gamer guy (journalist) looking for share a room with a similar person/people. Groups are probably better since that makes for cheaper lodgings.

Arriving with the WCTT, CCST, or WANG on Thursday but could only work out a hotel for Friday and on? Local, but want to stay close to the convention center and get in line early on Friday, since it's right across the street?
