My aunt Cathy has three kids. Kelsey is the oldest. She is 23, has a baby and is dating a guy named Kelly. Kelly is a cop in town, but that's worthless because it's a shitty little town. Her middle daughter is Nikki, who is 19 and lives at home and will never make anything of herself. Well, neither of them will. They won't go to college or anything. They're morons.
The youngest is Mylie who is 4. Mylie's dad, Eric is no longer seeing Cathy but has visitation of Mylie.
One day Nikki gets in her head that she wants money from her mom. Her mom says no, they have a huge fight and Nikki storms out of the house. She goes to Eric and asks him for money. He agrees as long as Nikki will help him. So he takes her to a lawyer, she makes some statements that her mom is unfit and cops come and take Mylie away!
So everyone in my family is completely pissed at Nikki. Except for Kelsey! She hates that her mom asked her to baby sit one day. And she said that her mom shouldn't have money to do stuff, when she can't afford car insurance. I know. My cousin is retarded.
My mom texts Kelsey twice and Kelsey tells the cops she's harassing her.
It goes to court and it's...fucking retarded.
Cathy's lawyer is asking Nikki questions, who keeps answering them like she's unsure and asking questions:
"you said you think your mom is abusing pain meds. why?"
"well....she keeps them in her nightstand?"
"...okay why do you think she's abusing them?"
"well...she has mood swings?"
"what do you mean by mood swings?"
"she...gets angry?"
The lawyer then asked if she was getting money from Eric. She said no. Oh, except her deposit, and first two months rent. Oh and her cell phone bill. OH! And her cable bill. Oh yeah and he's providing her with a car.
She also said that one the day she moved out she "feared for her life" because her mom was going to make her pay rent.
My poor grandma works in the same restaurant as my two worthless cousins. They still show up to work and say "hi grandma!" even though my grandma just ignores them at this point.
Cathy lost primary custody of Mylie now and only has visitation. They're appealing.
