I hear the second season is basically the worst so I've been distracting myself with my garfield and friends dvds but this thread tears it I'M BACK IN THE SADDLE BABY
Man the last episode of TNG I watched was where Data starts dating some lady he plays in the quartet with.
That episode was pretty great. Spot was in it.

Oh god Code of Honor is the most hilariously racist episode in the entire series
they actually carry spears
edit: the best trek moment however is this:
Felis catis, is your taxinomic nomenclature
An endothermic quadriped, carnivorous by nature?
Your visual, olfactory, and auditory senses
Contribute to your hunting skills and natural defenses.
I find myself intrigued by your subvocal oscillations,
A singular development of cat communications
That obviates your basic hedonistic predilection
For a rythmic stroking of your fur, to demonstrate affection.
A tail is quite essential for your acrobatic talents
You would not be so agile if you lacked its counterbalance.
And when not being utilized to aid in locomotion,
It often serves to illustrate the state of your emotion.
O Spot, the complex levels of behavior you display
Connote a fairly well-developed cognitive array.
And though you are not sentient, Spot, and do not comprehend,
I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend.
I just finished rewatching TNG from beginning to end again. The bf is ready to kill me. He wanted to start DS9 because I talk about it so much.
I almost wept when he said "Now I know why you hate Enterprise and Voyager so much... These shows are amazing! I don't know if I could seriously go back to watching it (Enterprise and Voyager) again."
what really? it has measure of a man in it, aka one of the best episodes of anything anywhere
yeah
I've just heard it's the weakest season, no Dr. Crusher, everything's still kind of awkward
but it has Elementary, Dear Data in it so really how bad could it be
yeah it's probably more hits than misses, still. first season is the worst because everything looks like it's on a tv budget and wesley crusher is in every episode

What! Why not the original series? It is the best of the best of the best! It is the only one that I have on DVD, as earlier stated.
Also Star Trek IV is the best movie.
And I am okay! I have a small cold that's been passed around here, so I am drinking tea and sticking tissues up my nose. Like you do. But I'm going to a baseball game tomorrow, so that's cool.

"Sandra has a good solid anti-murderer vibe. My skin felt very secure and sufficiently attached to my body when I met her. Also my organs." HAIL SATAN

everyone's slightly uncomfortable in their roles still and the lighting is garish as fuck
there's still some good eps in the first couple of seasons though.
