We get people who come into my work (engineering library on an engineering campus) and ask for books with the thickest Indian accent. I always feel really bad because I have to ask them to write it down.
And then every now and again, I'll have to ask the people who wrote it down to write it in English.

Really I suppose this stems from the fact that the United States is so big it is easy to travel a long distance and still be in America. Some people never even have the chance to leave the country. You don't really need to worry about representing the place you come from or its people. You act like a bitch it is towards another American,
