Sorry about not joining Brutle. My friend's over and we're taking turns doing a few rounds at a time. Next few weeks should be better since we'll be living close and he's going to bring his xbox over.
Okay. So your score... Does that reset when you prestige too? I mean your total score. The reason I am confused is because I see people with a prestige star and level 30ish with like 1 million score, which seems impossible to do.

Impossible like too high, or impossible like too low? I'm pretty sure my score is, like... 500k, maybe? I'm P1 lvl 36. If it's too high.... well they could stay at 70 for a long time. In other words, no. Doesn't reset.
am i wrong in thinking the map stimulus package was just a stimulus to activisions bottom line and not worth it at all?
Im quite sure its the worst thing to ever happen to the CoD franchise.
I certainly feel like it was pretty heavily overpriced. I guess it was nice being able to play something new, but... if I could go back and unbuy them, I probably would.

I just look at it as a money/time thing. If I spend 15 dollars on it but play it for a few days, that's pretty good goddamn value. I mean 15$ is going to get you what, a joint, 20 rounds of 5.56x45 from Walmart, or a case of beer? These things do not last a few days.

Also, for some unknown reason not at all related to my NAT settings, I cannot get better than a one or two bar connection in any game mode. It's only in this game.
edit: router reset fixed it.
edit edit: didn't change the fact that this game is a pile of terrible-play-rewarding garbage

Impossibly high. Like I'm level 68 and have about 500K score. I assumed that it didn't reset but I wasn't too sure. I think someone who has Prestiged is below me in total score, which doesn't make any sense.

If you sit at 70 for a long motherfucking time without prestiging and thus get a shitload of points, but then get bored and prestige, you can have 3,000,000 easily in your first prestige.
Eh, not really. AK is a goddamn bunker buster with FMJs.
Depends, It takes me AGES to get Extended Mags, but when I do slap that on with FMJ and let loose.

The first time I used an AK to master it, I wound up getting the Extended Mags done before I had my holo challenge done. Then I never did the holo challenge. I had all of the hard shit done, but refused to use the RDS on that gun.

Scatman is shit at this game. He just found a way to texture, wall, and aim bot hack the 360.
That explains so much, Josh! Goddamn hacking wall bot aim boosting sons of bitches.
Sorry about leaving when I did last night and making you dudes re-form. I had to be up at 4:30 this morning, so I needed some damn sleep. It seemed like everyone was having connection issues last night, and it wasn't even due to me being host.
I prestiged last night. I'm on 5 now. Working on my M4 mastery. Shouldn't take too long. I realized last night, right AFTER I prestiged that I was 5 grenade launcher kills away from my ACR mastery. D'OH! :P

I had been sitting at 42/50 for a while, and had been goofing around with other guns.
But I decided I needed to master at least one gun, so I did so .
I have no idea how to intentionally set up shots to shoot though things, so I was just playing normally basically. But got the first 6 kills rather quickly. I stopped playing maps like Overgrown because they're too big. I seemed to have the best chance of getting an FMJ kill in something like Scrapyard, but I got the final kill in Invasion I think.
Along the way I knifed someone in the back, shot someone while stunned, unlocked Hardline Pro, got my first Harrier Strike and my first Chopper Gunner. So all kinds of points and things unlocked.
So all in all, a rather enjoyable night.
I still need to use the TAR a little more, as I think I'm less than 100 kills from finishing off all the Challenges completely.
The only map I actually hate is overgrown. Its such bullshit with people camping at the top of grandmas house and two thermal sniping bitches int the grass by the stone bridge.
after last nights humiliating defeat! I just jumped online and started knifing motherfuckers. Then I pulled out akimbo blinged models with steady aim, just to relive my glory days.
I went 31-6 with my kill streaks being UAV-Carepackage(for the wife)-predator missle.
Again, bros, private matches tonight. Everyone use single rangers in hide and go seek.
So which of you are going to shell out again in half a month? Next pack is up on the third.
Link?
Also, I'll more than likely be shelling out again in half a month. I was happy with what I got for $15. I assume I'll be happy with a similar amount for a similar number of maps.
This is rather quick though, right? So either these maps are really easy to make, or they were already done and they're slowly doling them out to people.
$15 for all 10 maps probably would've been a nicer thing to do.

For either camp, there's a rationalization for it, and it is merely that, a rationalization.
For example, time in = value out is not always a good indicator of value. I put a lot of time in masturbating with porn, but do I really get my $ worth?
Another way and more to the issue at hand, look at games that require one to put time in to play what it has to offer (COD is a perfect example, more extreme would be WoW or MMORPGs). The equation time in = value out is exploited through the mechanics of game structure. Because one needs to invest so much time in a product, one feels like it is worth the $. In reality, that equation is manipulated from the very onset of creation.
Therefore, time in= value out plays right into the hands of those who overprice and undervalue. As a horrible consequence, games which don't require a lot of time (single player, portal, and others) are seen as not worth the money, when in fact, they may contain more value for their money even if full priced.
As long as groltag keeps reminding me how much he likes ice cream then i'll probably get this map pack. Would be nice if they just listened to me and add the SAS awesome black suit model. The SEAL models look awesome but I really miss seeing a team full of bad ass SAS commando's blasting people like in MW1.
Well if you want a decent comparison to work with, for the same price you got 10 MP maps and 3 nazi zombie maps in World at War. Take that for what you will, I suppose.
Is there anyone else here who has figured out that in Highrise, if you go up the stairs on either side of the helipad that you can actually look UNDER the helipad platform, as it is actually raised above the tunnels underneath. You can see under the helipad and shoot into the sniper area on C (or get headshots as they come out of their spawn).
I do this all the time, and as long as you have a team mate watch the other side of the map you can get kills pretty much risk free. I have yet to see anybody else do this though.
First place I learned to Thermal Snipe like the 2nd day the game came out. That said, yes, I am sure there are still a bunch of people that don't know this.
Just like the secret room on Quarry that no one knows about.
Secret room in Quarry... Do explain. I run the same path over and over and over again on Quarry (which is the reason why I actually like this map), so I haven't actually explored it. Is it in the back warehouse by the hole in the wall?
You are a horrible horrible person.

the trick (for automatics at least) is to do quick alternating bursts. You get so many headshots doing this with akimbo mp5ks.
