So now that Giguere is probably out for a long while, I need a decent 3rd string goalie. I know a couple guys in the League have extras, anyone up for a trade?

Once I figure out if Rinne is getting his starting spot back, or if Lindback's amazing showing increases his ice time, I'll have one guy possible available.

from links I followed from the Preds twitter feed...

"With Rinne’s return to the game, it is unknown who will start against Chicago on Wednesday, though after Saturday night’s loss Lindback probably wants the nod even more than usual. In a post-game interview, Lindback stated that he was already excited for the next game to try to bounce back.

When that next game will be, no one, save perhaps the coaching staff, knows for sure. "

The arms race at the top of the NW division is getting ridiculous. Which team will blink first? They've left Minnesota ridiculously in the dust.

Any of you guys who aren't Canucks fans, should be watching their games right now, just to see the tear Kessler is on. He's absolutely dominating right now.

Whereas I would say: any of you guys who aren't Wings fans should be watching their games just to see the best player in the world quietly do his thing, like he's been doing for the last 13 years.

We should start calling bets on this thread.

    Wednesday night. Canucks. Wings.

    Who will win?

Probably Vancouver, Wings are slumping. Pavel is in one of his particularly European moods and refuses to shoot the damn puck while Zetterberg is in a shoot from everywhere mode. Sadly they're not on the same line at the moment so this works... poorly.

It was an old thing (particularly with the Russian 5) around here that Europeans refuse to shoot the god damn puck until it is an easy goal. It was gorgeous to watch when they were on but sometimes (and most of those times were in the playoffs) it drove us all nuts.

The coolest thing about Kesler's tear is that in his last 10, he haS had 6 goals, 6 assists, and 1 baby.

Red wings are good. I gotta work anyways, but it's a good excuse for me to not watch the game live out of nervousness.

The coolest thing about Crosby streak is he has 21 goals in his 21 game point streak.

And Malkin has 8 points in his past 3.

Edit: Oh god, it just feels so good to have them both at full strenght.

Yeah, this was right in the middle of play which is why I don't have an issue with it.

If it was after the game or period or something, I think it would have been handled differently.

And the guy throwing a box of waffles on the ice during play was being classy?

This is the exact response I'd expect from anyone for that behavior.

Yeah, if you're throwing anything onto the ice other than your hat after someone scores a hat trick, you can probably expect to get thrown out. Pretty sure most places warn you about this before the game, have it printed on tickets, or whatever.

See, the guy threw it on the ice during play. So I have no issue with the powers that be getting together and throwing the book at the guy. If you want to make a statement, do it after the play ends, after the period, after the game etc... Don't do it while play is going on. You are just making yourself look like a moron.

I heartily encourage the throwing of waffles in protest of the Leafs though. Hopefully this douche doesnt ruin the thing though.

Pens score on their 2nd shot of the game for a 1-0 lead.

Panthers score on their first shot of the game for a 1-1 tie.

Like, 2 min into the game.

    Can we start over?
